Feel conned by the image depicting this as a canal side hotel. Entrance is on Valkenburgerstraat, you cannot access the canal as seen it the image, only those booking Canal view rooms presumably get to see this view. Definitely booked this hotel based on the advertised image. That said it is a good location to explore Amsterdam tourist centre

Property is centrally located to a large number of attractions. The zoo, science museum and maratime museum are very close as well as the palace. Staff is very friendly and accomidating.

Amstedam visit
We only stayed for 2 days but overall the stay way good. The room did not have adequate storage for our belongs but it was conveniently located near major facilities. The cold European breakfast was ok.

Nice 3 day stay!
We stayed 3 nights. It is very close to walking to things without being in the hustle and bustle. It is very clean and has a very nice breakfast. Nice stay!

The property is located in a quiet area of Amsterdam, away from the tourist area of downtown. There is a tram and metro stop nearby. The morning breakfast is outstanding. However, the beds are not very comfortable. Small and not supportive.

We had a hiccup at first, with our room electricity not working with the card. However, they made it right immediately and moved us into another room (nicer as well). The staff was friendly and the are was safe and near a lot of places we wanted to visit.
