Eye level with the canal

The room was a nice size, but my canal view was right at eye level. I had to tip-toe to see the view.

The staff was excellent and it very clean. The only downside was the room was small and there was no dresser or place for your luggage. We had to place our luggage upright and put on the bed anytime we needed something. But the breakfast was good and we felt the walking distance to anything was great.

The property is okay but housekeeping not up to par. Left dirty coffee cups in the room and didn’t refresh coffee and tea. Had to ask for extra coffee and creamer every day.

The hotel itself was fine. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was uncomfortable and I was disappointed that I paid extra for a “canal view” and our room was on the basement floor. If I stood on my tip toes I was able to see outside the window and we were eye level to the water. That wasn’t the way it was advertised and I felt a little swindled. My advice is don’t spend extra money on the view and you’ll be great.

Small hotel that is within walking distance from train station. Nit much immediately around hotel, but easy to get to other parts of the city. Great breakfast for small hotel. Decent sized room and great water pressure.

Lovely place

Lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly and then hotel is very clean. No complaints at all. 10-15 min walk to the city centre which is perfect for us. We will definitely stay again
