Nice place for couple night stay

Nice place to stay for our one night. Would stay here again, especially if for a couple days. Tram stop 3 minutes away, museums 3-10 min away and beautiful park 30 seconds away.

I’d read some mixed reviews and was pleasantly surprised. I found the property to be good value and the staff to be helpful. Location was good for the museum district. I had the wrong adaptor and the reception staff happily loaned me one for the duration of the stay.

too expensive No working WIFI, cold Shower, noise

good: Convenient location, friendly staff, clean, compact room, bathroom/shower good small side for one person. Not good: wifi did not work in my room at all very frustrating I told them they said they will fix it but nope! First morning woken up by noise and could not sleep past 8am. Sink in bathroom barely have any water coming down, told them but nothing changed after. Second night shower was totally cold I told them next day, they asked me I should have gone downstairs at reception to tell them how? please note this was at 3am and I was freezing, I just wanted to go to bed. Shower towel only good for a man, as way too small for a woman. A small issue was they have no plugs near the hallway mirror meaning if you need to use hair straightener you have to locate yourself near a socket and try guessing what you doing as you cannot see yourself! Overall way to expensive for what you get! between £80 to £140 each night plus city tax that was an extra 50 euro (£ night) its way too much, breakfast was an extra 17 euro, I did not get it, I preferred to go to a cafe near by and pay less. I been in 4-5 star hotels including the breakfast for the same price. I wont go back issue I had where not resolved,therefore I would have expected some money back after the issues I had!

Only stayed in Amsterdam for 1 night and this was perfect for us. Clean, friendly staff, and a 5 minute walk to the main museums and galleries. Also a stones throw away from Vondelpark
