I liked my room. I wanted to rent a bike so that took a lot of walking but I found Mac bikes for 12 euros. The desk clerk was quite grumpy and unhelpful when I arrived. I was worried it was going to be a bad experience when I met him. The night clerk was great. She was friendly and helpful. Once I found a bike to rent, I was happy.

Really enjoyed this hotel! Staff extremely friendly and helpful. They even offered an umbrella because it looked like a possibility of rain. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Will definitely come back. Their café is not yet open but coffee was available in rooms and in their café (for hotel guests) and lot’s of restaurants around.

We booked the quad room, was super tight and had no space to place any of our bags. Bare minimum amenities… it was clean inside the room. Beds were comfortable. Would find another place if we were to come back to Amsterdam though.

Two night stay in Amsterdam
The staff was so accommodating and helpful! There was always someone at the front desk to answer questions or let us in the building. Room was a bit small - literally just enough space for a bed! But it worked for our short stay. The neighborhood was adorable as well and felt very safe. An easy bike ride into the central city.

We have reserved this hotel for the family of 4. Room was very small. shower, toilet and sink were in a little tiny space with no shower door which water spill all over while showering. Ideally this room suppose to be for a family of 2. I have checked the other rooms, the rooms for 2 persons are bigger than the rooms for 4 persons. I wonder why they squeeze 4 people in this tiny space! In addition, hair dryer was now working and I had to go to different suite to dry my hair…. Not recommending this hotel for a family more than 2.

Great experience!
The staff was very friendly and helpful after I got in from a long flight. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but a unique experience coming from the US. Overall, this hotel had a great location (5 min from Vondelpark) and I would stay again!

Excellent hotel the rooms are small but beds are so comportable..and there are wonderful black out curtains and fans in the roons..so you get a great nights sleep. Its in a great area with super restaurants and plenty of coffeeshops and a small supermarket 2 doors up.. and very handy to the tram to get into town (which runs till 11.30pm) and is easy to use with the amsterdam 1 day blue passes. Staff were very helpful and I would highly recomnend the area..just far enough out to feel like a local and not part of tourist hot spot .

The place was quaint. The rooms is small and the stairs are steep but they do have an elevator. They were very kind to let us check in early so we could clean up after our long flight. At night it was very noisy. Lots of yelling, a random person singing and a lot of other city noises. The shower could use a better drainage system. It was good for 1 night.

Just get a regular room—the upgrade just includes two uncomfortable chairs in a corner. Small and basic but fine. Great location, walkable to attractions and good public transport. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. On site city taxes more than stated by Expedia.

The room is small, but does have all of your basic needs. It’s good for a minimal packer/backpacker because there is not much space for big and bulky luggages. Everything in the room was clean except the fan which had already accumulated plenty of dust. As far as the area, it is several stops away from the city center but it is still convenient as the metras are only a short walk away. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and convenience stores around too.
