Great location but rooms are very dated and looked warn. Stains on the carpets, dirty tissues under the mattress.

Rooms can use a bit of updating, but all were very clean. Hotel is perfectly located for tourists. Hotel staff were fantastic. They were always friendly and helpful and honestly made the stay there above expectations.

The staff were very nice but the room needs a major overhaul. Dim lighting, stains in the carpet, mold in the bathroom. Lots of restaurants nearby but it was very noisy late into the night.

Great area, wonderful staff, good coffee machine. Rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Threadbare and stained carpeting throughout the hotel. Moulding on doors and baseboards filthy, need to be repainted. Bathrooms were ok, but not spotless. Beds were comfortable but would not stay there again. Would have expected to pay a lot less for that quality. Pictures on Expedia misrepresented the rooms.

The staff are most friendly that I ever experienced till now. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. The internet speed is good. There is complimentary coffee and cookies. You should definitely try those cookies.

Great find in the heart of Centraal. Amsterdam

Fairly priced no frills “boutique” hotel located in the heart of Centraal Amsterdam. Great staff, early check in, clean. As advertised. 4 min walk to the train station, surrounded by shops, nightlife, and any type of food you could want. 15 min walk to Ann Frank Huis, 5 min walk to the red light district. Coffee, snacks, lounge, and bar on the ground floor. Perfect for solo travelers or couples that don’t need 5 star accommodations at a fraction of the cost of other surrounding properties. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Amsterdam.

Acceptable for a short stay

The hotel is well located. Staff is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. However, this is not be any means a luxury hotel. The carpet and walls in the hallways are a mess. There was food and drinks available all day but the area was covered in nats and not maintained. It's a hotel suitable for the younger crowds looking to party together in Amsterdam on a budget.

Really nice place to stay in the heart of the city. A couple blocks from the Red Light district, but unless you go out at night and lookin for it, it is easily avoidable. Great staff, A/C works well (rare in Europe). Small rooms but we just slept there so it wasn’t important to us. Some older carpet and the like, but I really enjoyed our stay there.

Pros Central Location Beds very comfortable Goodie bags when leaving is a nice touch Staff friendly and helpful Cons Price compared to the quality of the accommodation wasn't value for money Carpets very worn and stained Needs repainted and wallpaper coming off Lights on ceiling did not work so just had dim table lights Hairdryer didn’t work (got one from reception) - dangerous wiring The noise is a downside of the central location - party central until late at night. People fighting in the alleyway one night. Bottles being poured into a bin at all hours including early in the morning.
