Not a good experience.

Rooms are ok, a little outdated, and no fridge. We were very upset that we stay there 5 nights and our room did not get cleaned at all even though we requested it. The front desk staff were very nice and did apologize about the incident. On the positive side it has an excellent location, close to stores and main plaza.

Comfortable stay and good location

The room was very comfortable and met our needs. It was an easy walk into the centre. We did find the shower not terribly clean when we arrived. The bed was very comfy and the canal view was lovely.

Faith Restored in Ibis

We arrived at this Ibis after a rather dreadful stay in another Ibis location in Brussels, so out expectations were quite low. It was a very pleasant surprise. Large bed, great internet, lovely view, and wonderful service from very helpful staff. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We came in from the airport, and it was nice that it was not far from the nearby train station stop. The hotel check in was a bit slow. In terms of a place to stay, it’s nice enough, we had a room with a decent size window that opened towards a canal and allowed for good airflow. The units are fairly small and tight, but for the price in central Amsterdam we didn’t mind. We thought the shower and how it kind of isn’t fully separate from the rest of the bathroom might’ve caused water to get everywhere, but that wasn’t an issue.
