The location was very good, next to Amsterdam central station. Walking distance to many important sites. This hotel uses credit cards only, no cash. The breakfast buffet was not very good, dry scrambled eggs, not a lot of food choices. Outside the hotel, there was homeless people and trash.

In of the manager Staff was very rude, when I just took disposable glass from the reception. He was so loud to ask me that next time ask me before you pick. He was not evening sitting at reception at that time. No one was at reception at that time. So Rude behaviour.

Mom and I had a wonderful stay at Ibis. This was the best and most convenient hotel in Amsterdam. Close to EVERYTHING. All the food restaurants, dam square, damrak, red light district, Anne frank’s house. Take the ferry to go across the other side of Amsterdam and you are right there at Adam’s Lookout. First time I’m in Amsterdam. Everything is so easy to get to and we used google maps. Next time I will be back knowing how to get to the city by heart because I remember everything!!

This is an excellent place to stay. Location right next to the train station. Lots of restaurants shopping within walking distance. Staff went above and beyond to get us checked in. Everything is great about this place. We will stay here again.

Bare bones but fine for simple travel.

Gets the job done if you want a bed in a clean but small room with few amenities. (No coffee, water bottles, or drawers. Shared iron and ironing board in the hall. Area tight around beds, but acceptable.) I was happy with it for a quick solo-traveling stay that is maximally convenient to the train station. I had pleasant views of the water and a couple of train tracks (looking north) on the backside of the building. Breakfast buffet was acceptable if nothing particularly special. But again, it was convenient and quick for a quick breakfast before my morning train.
