I liked how everything was in the heart of the museum quarter, shops nearby, in a quiet, safe and friendly area, very clean. The property was decent, quite pricey though, drinks in the room should have been complimentary - especially bottles of water. Room should have had a fridge. Two sockets in that room did not work and create unsafe fizzling sounds or it would charge my phone/laptop very slowly.

This property has a great location and the staff is very pleasant. The rooms, on the other hand, leave a lot to be desired. The beds are super small and really hard. The outlets are not convenient and the rooms are really tiny. The windows are often blocked, very drafty and difficult to close. We basically paid 400 Euro for a shoebox with 3 cots in it. I can’t say enough about the location but the rooms were overpriced and not comfortable at all.

Slightly outside of the main hustle and bustle, we were able to come back to a quiet hotel, which we loved. Our only issue was that the walls were quite thin so we could hear all our neighbors.

Not worth it.

We booked the 2 double bed room. This is not a room which holds 4 people! There is one double bed and a sofa bed (which was made up upon arrival) There is no room for anything else. Also no fridge to store drinks incl milk. No long life milk provided either. The bathroom is also too small for 4 people. The staircase into the hotel is steep and absolutely no way to carry your cases up the stairs in the hotel. Only way up is via one lift. I wouldn’t stay here again. And then the kicker on checkout is the 10% tourist tax. Thanks Amsterdam.

We stayed in a standars double room. I t was possibly the smallest hotel room I ever stayed in. It was very hard for two people to move without bumping into each other. Bathroom was miniscule. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, but thw person sleeping on the inside had to crawl over the other person to get in and out.

Staff was nice but the room was very small for a double room and the breakfast was basic and the same everyday which was difficult for a week long stay. Also for the price the building and the rooms need an upgrade.

Had the "loft room" which is similar in size to a north American queen sized room, with a sofa bed. Perfect for a family. Style is cute, building has character, and staff are great. Location is excellent, better spot to stay for quiet and more local experience

Lovely would definitely stay again

This was a lovely hotel. The room was spacious and really nicely decorated. The bed was so comfortable I never wanted to leave it, and there is Aircon. The shower needs a little upgrade but worked fine. Quiet area and plenty of access to trams and nice little restaurants.

I liked this property. Staff were super friendly and helpful. It was close to the bus and tram and very walkable area. The rooms were very tiny and to stay one night was perfect but I wouldn’t want to plan a few days there. We were on an overnight in Amsterdam which worked out perfectly.

The property is quite good. The rooms are not cleaned regularly. And they have a ask only policy which is good but even after two days you ask, the rooms are not refreshed (no beds were made. Only fresh towels were provided (good) and dustbins cleaned (good). Their reception staff is amazing always ready to help. Loved them, they are the reason why I enjoyed the stay. The public transportation connection is great another great feature of this hotel, the lovely surroundings make it even more exceptional.
