Upon check in had to pay 100 euros per night per room, not the advertised 50 euros on hotels.com, the deposit minus any deductions they feel fit to take will be refunded within 10 business days. No prices advertised in the room for refreshments only a small qr reader if you have access to one.
Left bags and went out for the day on return asked to check in again with another deposit and show passports again even after explaining we had already done this and showed receipts as proof.
Arrived at the room, not the deluxe twin we paid for, however because of mobility issues we were then moved to the deluxe we paid for.
Don't expect to get drinks of any sort from the bar after 10.15 pm, as it is not open until 11 like advertised, we did raise this issue on numerous nights as it was not a one off, we were told it was staffing issues. People were turned away and sent to other establishments for refreshments. One of the reasons we chose this hotel over Christmas was for it's facilities.
As a frequent worldwide traveller in my opinion it did not feel like a four star hotel.
It's only saving grace was it's position in the museum quarter and close to lots of restaurants and shops.
