Wonderful hotel rooms, nice location limited food options, restaurant on premises is separate from the hotel so not available for breakfast and is very hard to book for dinner. Breakfast it’s self is on the ground floor behind reception booth and is ok but again limited and not worth €20pp, I was expecting a full cooked breakfast with multiple options not to self serve my self toast and cereal. The bar is next to dining area but is again very casual and not what I expected, fine for a day time chill but would be nice to have something with more of a vibe and atmosphere for evening drinks/relaxing. Ended up visiting another hotel down the road for dinner and drinks because they had availability and much better options/atmosphere. I imagine the restaurant at this hotel is nice (I could not visit unfortunately as it was booked out every evening of a three night stay and didn’t seem to offer lunch) when the restaurant is busy during the evening it can be difficult to get up to your hotel room as restaurant staff seem to prioritize their guests over hotel guests and there is only one screen available to be able to call a lift from. The rooms are the best thing about this hotel, up on the 16th floor very spacious, nice views. Note there is no phone in the room to call reception, if you need any assistance you have to visit reception booth also no irons in room these are located on six floors in the hallway, so expect to carry your clothes out there to do any ironing. Very annoying

I have to say that the longer i stayed in the hotel the more i was intrigued to what i was visually experiencing regarding the creative designs of the hotel and the functionality and concept of using the amenities. Very! cool!. I did not have one issue with the staff each and everyone were approachable and helpful. They were also helpful and patient since my knee was injured and a ice pack was needed to soothe my pain in the evening. I would give them my ice packs every morning for them to leave in their freezer and give them to me every evening and never made me feel i was asking to much. I really liked how the metro was a 5mn walk from the hotel and a 15mn metro ride to downtown Amsterdam very convenient. There was also a 4 minute walk to a convenient store for any amenities needed. Bravo ruby i can say i picked the right hotel for my trip. Thanks to all of you for a wonderful stay. xoxo

Wonderful stay

Couple stay. We stayed in the loft room and we would 100% come back. We already are looking to return to the hotel for our next trip to Amsterdam. We are from London and wanted a nice hotel to stay in whilst we visit Amsterdam. LOCATION IS FANTASTIC FOR METRO. The metro is a 2 minute walk (the side of the hotel is literally on the same road as the metro), the metro has 3 lines straight into central station, taking 10-15 mins max. I love the style of the lifts as it is technical and the lifts come based on where they are in the building- you mainly get a private lift every time. The bed was so comfortable and it was nice to have a kettle in the room as I can see from the reviews the hotel has clearly listened to feedback. My one feedback for the hotel would be to move the desk, although it is self check in, you do need help from a member of staff so I would make this more out of the way say around the corner by the breakfast bit, as getting to the lifts can be a bit busy walking around others (genuinely not a problem- it is just a suggestion to make the floor space more free.) the space in the loft room was wonderful and my partner was a global traveller for his work and has stayed in many hotels, however he even said the layout of the loft room was really impressive with the open plan bathroom, and toilet separate.

This hotel was beautiful. We booked the cosy room for 3 nights for a city break. The room has an iPad to control everything in the room from the blinds to the A/C. We didn’t try the food or drinks but it looked nice. The only thing is that if you wanted them to make up the room you had to ask downstairs but even when we did ask, they still hadn’t made up the room. All we wanted were clean towels though and when we asked they gave them straight to us. Although the room was very clean when we got there and I had no concern about the cleanliness of the hotel. If you’re going for a city break and want a cute but affordable hotel that’s close to the centre I 110% recommend!! The metro is right next to the hotel and it was just 10 minutes on the to Centraal and only 2€ which was perfect (we also had no noise complaints and I believe that the windows were very sound proof)
