Bathrooms were gross, shower curtain was only thing separating shower from rest of bathroom. So water would go everywhere. Bathroom floor looked like it had never been mopped. Towels were small and sparse. Nowhere to put anything in bathroom or bedroom. Tv did not work, doors wouldn’t close unless you slammed them. Multiple times I saw other rooms with the doors ajar. In middle of night some guy walked into our room bc our door was not closed properly. No phone in room to call front desk. Elevator to bring luggage up and down was out of order.
When i book the hotel, I didn't see that the property doesn't have a Iift. Luggage up and down problem. The first stay in a room 105, window faces the street intersection. Whole night is noisy. No room cleanings, even take away trash and gives clean towls, toilet tissues.
This is a very substandard and noisy hotel. The elevator does not work and the bathrooms are frequently out of paper. The lights in the bathrooms turn off very quickly if one isn’t moving.
The hotel facilities is like a Hostel and I paid €210 per night plus Deposit €100! This is ridiculous, the rotten wooden window in the room of my overpriced hotel room rate couldn’t sustain the noise from the street which deprive me from having a decent good night sleep. On top of that the loud banging of doors due to opening n closing of doors at 1:08 am was so very annoying. I cannot relate what a nightmare stay I had in this Quentin Hotel. And the room space is like a prison cell, which is so against the law to demand such a price. This is like a Mafia hotel, that nobody comes to assist with humanity but virtuel assistance, which useless in real life problem. Shame if you to have such listing in your website! Never again!!

You definitely wanna stay here for the location and convenience. The hotel itself is not fancy, is not sound proof, and is a little run down. But for a fantastic location that has all the basics you really can't beat it
Last minute booking great location just a shame the room keycard wasn’t working properly. Staff tried there hardest to rectify it but keycard just didn’t like me but all in all good place to staff helpful staff
Very friendly and helpful staff, hotel very conveniently placed near dam square etc. Very comfortable room for a budget hotel, would most definitely stay again if i visit Amsterdam again
Well, number one the picture that they have on Expedia is completely incorrect. It looked nothing like that. THERE IS NO BATHROOM in the room, only shared at the end of the hall and shower down the stairs. No peep hole on doors so a little sketchy. Heat didn't work first day because it was broken and then they fixed it. Only one pillow in bed and no extra blankets. The location is the only good thing about this place. Like the picture on Expedia is a catfish.
I would not recommend this hotel. It’s a shared bathroom. The carpets are threadbare. It’s extremely basic. The ladies toilets in reception area were out of order.
There’s no lift and the stairs are steep!
The location is good and the staff are helpful and friendly.
The beds themselves were clean enough, however the shower was in a poor state with mould on the tubing and around the shower head.
The bathroom was tiny and you had to sit on the toilet at an angle when the door was shut.
The stairwell was extremely steep and the carpet in the hallway was filthy.
The breakfast was VERY basic and coffee stone cold on 2 of our 3 mornings.
The beds were very basic and uncomfortable and the windows didn't close properly so blocking out the noise from the street below (went on all night at weekend) was impossible.
The young fellas running the place were pleasant enough, however they didn't give an impression of knowing the business. We waited about 30 minutes on our arrival, for someone to come to the hotel and check us in.
Location was good in that it's central, however the noise from the street didn't make for a good night's sleep.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life, the bathroom is shared, you have to pay to have an upgrade, it's terrible, you can hear every step you take, it doesn't have an elevator, the stairs are terrible, I don't recommend it.
