My bag was stolen from lobby and they did nothing

I was robbed. I had one of my bags stolen from the lobby of the hotel when I checked in. I asked if they had security cameras and they said they did but could not access them or look at the footage. They said they would have a security man contact me when he got in in the morning. He did not contact me and when I went to the front desk later in the day, they said he had left for the day and since it was the weekend, there was nothing more they could do. At this point, they were adamantly refusing to help me. I told them they need to call someone, a manager or anyone who could help me. Eventually they did call someone. When I returned, they told me they did talk to someone and they reviewed the security footage and they could see my bag and that someone took it. I asked them what they were going to do about. Would they call the police or let me see the footage? They refused to let me see the footage and asked for my e-mail address so the manager could get in touch with me. The manager never got in touch with me. No one ever took responsibility for my bag being stolen. I would avoid this place.

The hotel itself was clean, though the facilities felt dated. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the experience at the on-site restaurant was a letdown. Staff were dismissive and unprofessional—handing us menu and vaguely telling us to “go sit down” without offering any direction or guidance. When I tried to order a cocktail from the bar, I was told they couldn’t make any due to being short-staffed. Oddly enough, other guests were clearly drinking cocktails at the time. Only after pointing this out did I receive an Aperol Spritz. Breakfast was equally chaotic. Clean utensils were hard to come by, and staff were loudly arguing with the kitchen team over the lack of dishes. Overall, very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Great hotel. Only complaint was I had a room with a door to the adjoining room and all the noise from my neighbor seemed to come right through. Had to be the same for them. Had to have the tv volume high enough to drown out the noise from their tv.

I was extremely impressed with this hotel given the per night charge. It was super clean. Spacious for a European room. I had four pillows. The duvet was real feather as was the pillows. I highly recommend this hotel

Had everything you needed for an airport hotel, only one thing that I didn't like is that the breakfast was advertised at €20 in the lift, yet i was charged €25 euros ( I saw the advert after I had already eaten), and I didn't have time to go back.

Great, clean airport hotel.

What a great hotel right by the airport. Clean, great room, comfy bed, free shuttle, friendly staff. It’s about 30 mins by uber to city center but if you’re looking to be close to the airport - this is perfect!

Hotel in a Office Park

OK choice for 1-night stay layover Schipol Airport, or few days visit to adjacent Global regional nearby sub-office. Convenient and efficient bus pick up from Airport curbside to hotel every 30 minutes. Bus ride either way is approximately 15 minutes duration. Once at hotel, you are a trapped animal, with absolutely nothing nearby within walking distrance and very limited choices of food (single restaurant) and a lobby vending kiosk (managed by outside source that charges astromomically for simple foodstuff). Word to the wise: These "office park" hotels nearby Schipol were schemed over 40 years ago and by now mostly not fit for purpose. ApartHotels or AirBnB are much better for business traveling to nearby airport local branch offices in these developed office park areas... If you are a tourist, you will be happier staying the night in a nearby town with some actual life, even for one night, within 15-20 minute taxi ride radius around Schipol airport... If you are unfortunate enough to have to stay in one of these outdated Schipol 'Office Park' hotels for an extended period, be thankful there are no room 'balconies'...
