the best part of the hotel is the location. situated just 6 minutes walk from the Dam square and its attractions. its in a quiet street. the central station and the boat tour docks are all within walkable distance. lots of dining options nearby. The expedia site mentions premium rooms to be 323 sq ft. We had booked 4 premium rooms but only two seemed to be of 323 sq. ft. we had to talk to the reception and then they changed one of the two small rooms to a bigger one. However, we had to compromise for one room and stay in the smaller room. Javier at reception was very co-operative and helpful and tried to get us a bigger room but it seems the hotel was full.

During checkout they said they needed to charge a city tax of $224.37. While waiting for my Uber ride they said they made a mistake and told me they refunded the entire amount. However when I returned home, I discovered they only refunded me $222.60. I don’t believe these people are very honest and likely pull this scam with many customers.

Our room was very comfortable and roomy. I loved the floor to ceiling windows. The black out curtains were great for sleeping in. The breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is located in the heart of everything with an easy walk to museums, restaurants, Anne Frank, and around the corner from the ted light district. Ww felt very safe.

Difficult to sleep with all the street noise…

Very nice property-however last night the street noise was ridiculous. People were yelling and screaming (drunk? high?) til 0500 which meant no sleep for us. We realize this issue has nothing to do with the hotel itself since they cannot control the bozos out front. If you’re staying here be sure to bring earplugs-wish I had done so!
