The hotel facilities are good, and the staff is very helpful. A problem is that the hotel shuttle from and to the airport does not run in two time periods of the day. For our flight time, no shuttle was available. We had to take a taxi to the airport, which was arranged by front desk staff — and the taxi fare charged was unreasonably high.

Stayed for a missed flight. Great checkin. With no luggage, we were provided with a dental kit. We had to leave before breakfast and we were provided with a box breakfast which was waiting for us at checkout. Fabulous experience.

Made reservation with Expedia. The Hotel sent me an e mail saying they rebooked me at a budget hotel-it was last minute and had to take it. Did not offer me a refund even though the hotel room was half the price of what we paid at this original hotel. Expedia did refund me a portion and said it was my fault for negotiating directly with the hotel when they rebooked us. Didn’t know I had a choice and why didn’t the hotel contact Expedia, and they should have contacted me. I am guessing they bumped us because we booked through Expedia and didn’t care. No contact or response back from Marriott regarding the situation- contacted the Marriott rep. who originally sent the e mail telling me they rebooked us-no response.

Overall a quick layover hotel is okay but very stuffy inside. Jail like exterior and no balconies for fresh air. The worst part is that we sweated all night and the AC was controlled by reception so we had to call multiple times to lower the temperature in our room so we can sleep. Never heard of hotel controlling the temp in room that we are paying and staying in. Sad stay overall

The property and rooms were great. Plenty of room for us and our luggage without having to carry them up 3 floors. The shuttle to the airport was awesome as we could get the train in to town from the airport. No car was needed.

I picked the Renaissance as a post cruise hotel. Both the hotel and my room were in wonderful condition. I used the resteraunt for lunch and had a great meal. The main reason for my score is being charged 10€ per hour to check in early to a room that is ready. Also, the cleaning staff is super noisy, both in the afternoon and morning they were banging into the walls while vacuuming and making beds.
