Good location away from central Amsterdam but still so much within walking distance. Upon check in we were asked if we’d prefer to be closer to the elevator or if we’d be okay a few rooms up with a nice view. That was really appreciated. Hotel room was a good size with soft beds and pillows. Only negative was room cleaning was happening at 5pm after we’d been out all day and wanted to rest in our room before supper.

The hotel was nice enough, as were the staff but it was very disappointing only to be informed the lounge/bar was being refurbished just a couple of weeks before our stay! I expect the hotel management would have known these dates many weeks, if not months, before we were due to arrive, so feel we were deceived into making a booking at a hotel with reduced facilities (we really wanted to use the bar lounge, it looked nice in pics, part of the reason we booked the hotel!)

Amazing location and very large room, 3 friends staying and there was more than enough room for us all. Modern room with lovely views over the city. About a 15-20 min walk to red light / dam square which is perfect.

This is the best hotel in Amsterdam. My family and I have a great time at this hotel. A modern hotel. It is perfect for travelling with your family. If you choose junior suite you can enjoy the best harbor view. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to the city center and enjoy Jordaan canals. The staff and managers from the hotel are very professional and helpful and welcoming. The team truly reflects the Assistant Director’s, great characters and leadership. They truly cares about their guest satisfactions. The room is spacious and clean. We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, and one day would come back again.

Hotel is going through major renovations. Our initial room on the 5th floor was showing its age and did not have hot water in the shower. We asked for a change of room and received a room/suite on the 7th floor which was already renovated. Staff accommodated all our needs and were very pleasant. Lighting was a bit sparse in the room but the view overlooking a canal and small harbour was beautiful.

Be aware the hotel is under renovation and it wasnt advertise!!They sent a message after we booked that the loby and restaurant are under construction. It wasnt possible to cancel since our reservation was booked on the same day... otherwise room was clean.

Whilst pleasant customer service, the room was dark with only behind furniture lighting and some really poorly lit table lamps. I get it you are preserving energy but if I couldn’t work due to the poor lighting that’s no excuse. Limited breakfast options apart from basic food in a meeting room. At €25. Hardly value for money. Avoid.

Amazing place , close to everything , very helpful staff , friendly and polite , specially the ladies at reception always bigs smiles :) <3 love that , polite , Only one thing I didn’t like : house keepers came to my room and they opened and entered without knocking my and my partner were inside , but everything else was amazing
