Worst stay of my life

I want a refund for three nights. There were people smoking marijuana in neighboring rooms and the hotel staff did nothing. This isn’t a hotel— they offer zero amenities. And the staff will not lift a finger.

Lovely hotel and great location. Staff were friendly and offered great service. Only issue was the bathroom had no door or curtain for privacy and was really small. The toilet was in the room but seperate to the bathroom. That did have a door.

Perfect location

Couldn’t pick a better location to walk minutes to museums, grocery, restaurants, shopping, parks, casino, all you might need. Red light only a few minutes longer, maybe 10-15 minutes walking through beautiful area. Enjoy

Very happy with the room. Comfortable bed and all very clean. Only things in the bathroom are the shower fixing is broken so have to hold the shower head. Also the handrail is coming away from the wall. We have a very good stay thank you.

Wouldn't recommend

Would not recommend as a solo traveler if you are booking a single room - photos are inaccurate. My room was in the basement/ground level to the courtyard, very dark, and smelled like smoke (although this is a non smoking property.) You can also hear everything in the hallways. Only plus sides were that the area was walking distance to a lot, close to airport, and that the staff here were friendly. Would recommend staying elsewhere if you want comfort.

Convenient Location

I loved my stay at Sonder Park House. I was a solo traveller and felt really safe there. It was a short walk to the tram and nice restaurants and the Van Gogh Museum. Right across the road to Vondell Park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything I needed plus the bathroom had a bath. 👏

It felt like a hostel. Room did not match what was pictured, they didn’t have basic black tea (EG only), chair was stained and there was no bedside lamp. It’s not the luxury advertised and it was not a place I wanted to spend any time in. The price was extortionate for what it was and I’m rationalising it on the basis of the location only. I would not stay here again.

The property is in a great location, very central and very easy to find.. it has a lovely entrance with a cosy fire in the somewhat sparse lounge area . The room itself was small but functional and unfortunately smelt of damp/mould from the open bathroom. It also had paint peeling off the walls and a dirty carpet and dusty curtains that are not easy to pull closed .. The bed itself was comfortable.

Lousy room, good location. Never again.

We first got a ‘DeLuxe’ room which was in the basement with two smallish windows facing a shaft with a brick wall about 1m from the window. No sunlight. Windows could not open leaving air slightly stale. Mid stay we got another better room, very small but with actual windows which was an improvement. A bit of a drag to find strands of long dark hair around the bathroom when we both are blond. Staff in the reception where kind but that did not make up for the disappointing facilities. Never again.
