The outside of the property was not well maintained. Glass, cups, and garbage on the sidewalks. The room was in the basement, very dark. The staff was aloof.

We felt lucky to stay in a quiet and centrally located hotel just steps from Vondel Park. Easy to get to by bus from Schiphol - one bus and a 7 minute walk from Museumplein to the hotel. We looked at many other options - canal views were appealing - but realized once in Amsterdam that those views come with lots of traffic and noise. The staff are friendly and responsive 24/7. Coffee bar an added bonus! Comfortable common spaces a nice option. Our room was in the older part of the hotel with a park view which meant it is street side. The property is larger than expected with several rooms in the newer section at the back. Did not see those rooms but expect they would be quiet, too. Housekeeping by request with a day’s notice worked for us with a self-service cupboard for towels, coffee pods and tea and other essentials. Not a luxury hotel but very comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable! Nearby restaurants and one spectacular bakery added to the appeal of this location. I would be happy to return and highly recommend this hotel

I had a nice stay at Sonder Park Hotel. It is very conveniently located to many of the main attractions in Amsterdam, especially Vondelpark and Museumplein. It is in good communication with local transportation as well. I am a mature solo female traveler and I felt safe in this area/hotel. Happy Travels!

Lovely hotel in a great quiet location. Really close to public transport-especially trams from the station the bus stop to go to the airport directly. Around the corner from many of the museums. Lovely helpful staff. Room was cosy but clean. Only issue was the mattress and mattress topper. It made the bed extremely lumpy and a big dip in the middle. The sheet couldn't be tucked in to stay in.

Sonder Park House was gorgeous & conveniently located. My room was pretty, but unfortunately had a moldy smell that kept me from sleeping. I was moved to a much smaller room in a less glamorous part of the building for a night before being moved to a room of my same caliber. I wasn’t happy with how the situation was handled at first & opted to shorten my stay. I’d recommend this place for the location and beautiful parts of the property, but they need better procedures in place for handling such situations. It appeared a water event happened in the room at some point and it caused the mold.

A nice hotel in a quiet area that is still easily walkable to anything you want to see in Amsterdam. Beds and pillows are comfortable, and the staff is super helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The staff was friendly and the lobby was cozy and inviting! I think our stay would have been better but unfortunately we were put in a room directly beneath the lobby. We could constantly hear people walking and talking above us, even through the night. If you get put in room 103 I would highly recommend asking for a new room. Luckily we had a short stay otherwise we would not have slept at all our entire stay!! Hotel itself was nice enough but it was impossible to relax in.
