Despite the fact I messaged them about my severe feather allergy, they did not inform me that they don’t have any no feather pillow or blanket and they refused to cancel or refund my reservation. In 5 min in the room I had an allergic reaction and lost my voice and had to immediately leave the room and check out the same hour but did not get my refund.

The reception staff play a big role on first impressions. My family and I felt welcome upon our arrival--staff greeting, smiling and being helpful. We stayed on the 7th floor. We liked the the elevators were fast. The hallway leading to our room was clean. Our room, 1 queen and 1 twin bed was spacious. We like the large windows for natural lighting. Room amenities were sufficient (coffee maker/coffee/tea and also a small fridge). Ice buckets for the room would have been nice rather than having ice in plastic bags. We had a very comfortable stay and we would stay here again should we find ourselves back in Amsterdam.
