Absolutely loved our stay here at Zaan hotel, location was perfect with it being easily accessible to the train - literally two mins away! There is a supermarket just outside the hotel for any little bits you need and overall the service of the staff here was amazing to attentive and friendly! We will definitely be staying here when we visit Amsterdam again! Can’t praise it enough highly recommend and also the beds are so comfy!

Really well situated for shopping and dinning. The rooms were immaculatly clean with fridge and espresso machine. No microwave. Supermarket literally a cross the street and the hotel conveniently rented bikes. I met Alexander, the bartender from Portugal, super friendly and he made a good espresso martini 😁

Amazing hotel, huge rooms, quiet and very very close to the train station that will take you anywhere. Hotel was very clean, we paid extra for breakfast every morning and it was worth it, so many options and we left full !

This was our 4th time staying at this property and have always had a great stay. If you're looking for a great place but don't want to deal with the stresses of downtown Amsterdam, this is it. Very close to the train station, there is also shopping and a myriad of restaurants within walking distance. Staff, as usual, are always accommodating to ensure your stay is a pleasent one. Highly recommended.

The place was very comfortable and up to our standard except the shower water from the "rainforest" shower head was not strong enough. Hence, we had to use the normal shower head which was placed at a lower position and unable to adjust.

The hotel exterior is beautiful in the style of Zaandam. The room was nice and spacious, with a TV, Espresso machine, mini fridge and wardrobe space. There is a free storage space for luggage if you have a late check-in or early checkout, which is really helpful. The room and bathroom however could do with some cleaning and updating. The room had cobwebs on the wall and the bathroom had black mould in the shower. We only got 3 coffee pods each day, despite being 2 people, which meant we couldn't enjoy a second cup of coffee.

Zaan is a couple of minutes walk to the train into Amsterdam which is a 10 minute trip to Amsterdam Centraal. Very convenient. The breakfasts were fantastic-everything you would want and more. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.

Quite unfortunate as we lost £1000 for this place the room was dirty, front desk wasn’t great, they couldn’t give us 15 minutes to use the gym and we weren’t allowed to do our washing and when we tried we had to PAY !!!(so we didn’t get to do our washing) but the bar guy was really nice and chatty
