I have stayed at portofino for at least 10 years. This year was the worst. The room smelled mildewy…the room was just not fresh smelling. The water pipes in the shower made a horrible noise when taking a shower. I was very disappointed with Portofino Inn…better up keep needs to be done here…please do something with the smell.

Place was filthy! Room service was not completed on one of our two rooms but the room that was cleaned didn’t receive towels and the dirty room couldn’t get new towels either … we asked .. nothing. Room was dirty, door to building was broken so anyone could access it, walls super thin can hear people, staff extremely rude. The fees they charge are not acceptable for services they provide! Sure it’s cheap and I guess you pay for it! Dirty property will never recommend or return!

The hotel is a little dated, but clean. The walls and doors are thin so you can hear everyone in the hall. Location is great, convenient to walk to Disney or the Garden Walk.

Good location. Beds were comfortable. AC worked well. Quiet location. Personal items were left in bottom drawer from prior guests. Soap/shampoo dispenser was out. Carpet smelled of urine. Housekeeping could’ve done a better job. Overall a positive experience and will be booking stays here in the near future. Some power outlets were too loose to hold our adapters/charging cords.

While the staff was friendly, the room was lacking in the cleanliness department. The bathroom grout had mold. The wall paper had areas that were ripped. I killed a spider and a silverfish. Was bit twice by something, debris on one of the chairs. Only 1 wash cloth provided for 4 nights and 2 guests. Keycard didn’t work and had to go down twice to get it fixed.

This hotel is close to the parks. Easily walkable, even at the end of a 18 hour day. Takes about 15min. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. No need for frills when in the parks all day. Pool and hot tub are nice after a long day, nice view of the fireworks from the hot tub. Overall this hotel does exactly what is needed, a safe clean place to sleep and shower.

This is the 2nd time I stayed here at portofino ! Amazing room was so spacious, super convenient walk to parks, dinning garden walk ! Loved it will stay def come back to it .

We have been staying at this property for 15 years. This hotel has drastically gone downhill over the years. We booked the room for 5 guests. When we got to the room there were only 2 towels and one wash cloth. The shower was out of soap and shampoo. When we pulled the sofa bed open there was the biggest yellow/brown spot on the mattress along with food crumbs and garbage. I told the front desk about disgusting the bed was and he said they would fix it. However the next day it looked as though they just removed the mattress protector still leaving a very thin mattress with a gross brown/yellow stain that was about 2 feet by 3 feet. This was far from sanitary and couldn’t believe they thought this would be acceptable. If you don’t mind a dirty room this property would be great for you. My family will never stay there again.
