Dirty
The hotel has the potential to be a great family experience but the lack of attention to cleanliness was troubling. The carpet in the room and in the hallways was dirty (stained and unvacuumed), the drapes in the room were dirty and stained and the floors on the main floor were filthy as well. Which was a real bummer because the location is great and rooms are spacious. I would never stay there again.

Pay for an empty parking lot. The bathroom smelled like sewage. When we let the staff know about the sewage smell, all the staff at the front desk said was “Okay, we’ll let maintenance know “. Never again!!

John, the night manager, was very helpful and explained all we needed to know regarding the property at our checkin. Excellent service. We hope to return soon with our chilren and grandchildren soon. The evening bar staff ladies were very helpful and provided great service. We have stayed in Embassy Suites over the past 30 years and the breakfast here was on time, the food was was hot and delicious, and the breakfast staff was the greatest too. The potatoes were the best we have ever eaten, pancakes perfect, scrambled eggs, etc. all excellent. Thank you for a great experience in a difficult time for the LA area.

A decent hotel with lots of perks!!!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. We had a suite with a separate living room w/pull out couch, bedroom & kitchen area. The carpet throughout is in dire need of replacement and 2 of the 4 elevators were down, but aside from that, we slept well on the comfy king bed and generous/comfy pillows. The free hot breakfast bar with the made to order eggs was yummy with lots of good selections. Another nice perk is the complementary happy hour with 2 free drinks. The indoor pool and hot tub was great, and just enough equipment in the gym to get a decent workout. We took advantage of it all! We were coincidentally there during the So Cal fires and saw how many people checked in with their pets. The staff were all very nice and accommodating during this difficult time.

Not the best stay.
My toilet was clogged. I had a service man come up and try and clear it and he said he did but my daughter used the bathroom and it clogged again. My shower filled with water when I showered and we had to wait for it go back down before my daughter could shower. There was hair and something brown on the bathroom floor. The ac was not working at all I slept with the slider open in order to cool down the room for my daughter to be comfortable. I complained and called the office and they said it working fine by still never cooled down so we turned it off.

THEY DON'T CLEAN AND LEAVE YOUR ROOM DOOR OPEN.
Unfortunately our room was dirty and my door was left open all day after cleaning crew went to clean it. We left our room at 6am and didn't get back until 11pm and when we went to open the door the door was left open we pushed the door and it opened up. I called the front office and all they said was I'm sorry maids probably left open after they "cleaned" which they didn't clean it was still dirty. They just asked if we had anything stolen which fortunately we didn't. But I expected more from the hotel but whatever. I would not stay here again.
