The Hyatt Regency Orange County is always my go to hotel only because staff is super nice and friendly the food is good also target is across the street and raising canes and Red Robin’s! My fave food places! Also they have a shuttle for Disneyland. This last time I went we got a room that wasn’t newly renovated and the room was a bit dusty as well as our headboards for the two beds and one of the pillow cases had a brown stain on it and when I brought it up to staff they said they would take care of it and when I got back later in the night the same stained pillow was still on the bed just flipped over to the clean side, so that just brought my 5 star rating to a 2 star rating.

Cigarette Smell

The room smelled like cigarette. We let the front desk know and they sent room service to spray in order to help with the smell. I was not to happy about it since we have small children. The stay was average, I expected more for the price we paid. Maybe it was just the room we got not sure. They do have many commodities like Starbucks and a restaurant in the lobby. We were looking forward for luxurious but it was average. The vents were dusty. The ceiling had a weird crust on one corner not sure why if the rest of the room didn’t. The floor edges need attention they were also dusty. We could have paid an 80-115 dollar hotel for what we got. I was not impressed. The cigarette smell never really went away. They voided our parking for compensation. Parking is 30-38 dollars a night by the way. Oh I forgot to mention the elevator. It wasn’t working or it seemed to be delayed a bit as is what an employee said. There was only one elevator, I was waiting a ridiculous amount of time to get on it and the door would never open. When it did it was ridiculously packed. So I ended up walking nine flights of stairs. It was funny I got there way before my husband and kids. On the positive note I worked in my cardio. Long story short if you’re looking for luxurious book somewhere else. If you can’t find anything else. It’s an okay place to book but don’t expect luxurious.
