She consistently went above and beyond and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. I’d also like to recognize the incredible breakfast team. Their friendliness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Exceptional service is what transforms a great hotel into an unforgettable experience, and the team at Vertali did exactly that. We had an amazing stay at Paralos Venus Suites! The food was absolutely incredible, and Julian at the bar and Katerina were both amazing. They made our experience even more special with their kindness and great service. Our room was perfect, and I especially loved having YouTube Premium on the TV — such a nice touch! The property itself is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained. My only complaints were that there weren’t always enough cabanas around the pool, so on some days it was difficult to find somewhere to sit. I also wish the servers came down to the pool more frequently to take drink orders. One thing to know is that the property does not have a private beach. The beach is about a 7-minute walk away, and beach chairs with an umbrella are available to rent for €30. We also loved having a little corner store nearby, and the car rental place was super convenient and only about €40 for the day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The food was amazing, the staff were wonderful, and the property was beautiful. We would absolutely come back! ❤️

We had a spectacular time at Akrotiri Hotel. The hospitality was above and beyond. Breakfast included every morning and high quality. Lena and her husband were incredibly welcoming. The room was very clean and well maintained. The tile in the bathroom was beautiful and the shower itself was wonderful. Now for the view. We were told we would have a panoramic view and we couldn’t have had anything more beautiful to wake up to. The terrazzo was also well maintained and enjoyable to sit on in the mornings. We had a drying rack for clothing which was helpful. The bus is very close to the hotel and was convenient to get on and off of. Lena’s husband offered to drive us to town a few times which was extremely generous. Again, above and beyond hospitality. When they say arrive as a guest, leave as a friend, they mean it. When I have the chance to return, we will absolutely be staying at Hotel Akrotiri.

Beautiful Hotel in a Great Location, But Some Details Let It Down We recently stayed at Castello Boutique Suites in Sissi, Crete to celebrate our anniversary, and overall, we had a very good holiday. The hotel made a wonderful gesture by upgrading us to a larger suite with a private side pool, which felt so special and really set the tone for our stay. The suite itself was stylish and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent every morning, and the staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The location couldn’t be better — just a 2-minute walk from the charming port of Sissi, with plenty of tavernas and shops nearby. That said, as this is marketed as a five-star hotel, we were a little disappointed by some details. Positives: – Thoughtful anniversary upgrade to a suite with private pool. – Beautiful, modern, and spacious room. – Fantastic location (2 minutes from Sissi port). – Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and quality. – Friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. – Relaxed, peaceful atmosphere throughout. Negatives: – Private pool jets and lights didn’t work; nothing was fixed during our stay. – Pool needed topping up and sides had algae. – No towel hooks in the bathroom; “do not disturb” system broken. – Daily housekeeping, but balcony wasn’t cleaned in 8 nights. – Cups and glasses not refreshed — had to wash them ourselves. No blinds/curtains: poolside window let in sun at 5am, back window was lit at night, affecting sleep and
