This reasonable priced motel is a great choice if you’re spending a few days pre-cruise. It is just down the road from Anchorage off by itself near great hiking and convenient to the glaciers. The exterior is a bit dated, but our room had been nicely updated with all the standard expectations along with some charming touches. It is a virtual check in; however, the host was very responsive to email or text which made it super easy. Would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late and simply entered our room code. The motel was an older building, but inside had been renovated within the last few years. It was a clean and nice place to stay on the road. We literally came in, showered, slept and then we left the next morning.

The location is great for hiking and access to the glacier park. The room was generally clean, except that the fridge contained the leftover food from the guest before us. Overall, the stay was great and we would book here again.

Diamond in the rough

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms are nicely updated, clean and well-furnished. Comfortable beds, thick towels and a small breakfast table and chairs.

It was an older motel but had been maintained well and was very comfortable and quiet. Could use another mirror in the room, but it was good and reasonably priced.

It is a small motel near the scenic road from Anchorage to Seward. The view awesome. It takes 30- 40 minutes to get to Anchorage, 20 minutes to get to Wild life center and 40 minutes to Whittier. The price is much reasonable compared to the fancy hotels in Anchorage and Sewards. There is a gas station next to the motel. We brough our own food. We did not see many dinning options.

I recently stayed at this motel about 30 minutes from Anchorage, and it was a good experience. The location is safe, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. I loved being able to walk right from the motel to some stunning scenic trails—perfect for a morning hike or evening stroll. Veronica updated us with all the details we needed on the day of check-in, making the process smooth and stress-free. The self check-in was convenient and easy to use.
