Would not recommend that anyone stay at this location. The staff we interacted with was nice but the rooms were very unsanitary. The bedding had hairs and smudges on the pillows which leads me to think the bedding wasn’t changed over…The toilets and floor around them hadn’t been cleaned at all, and there were crumbs around the bed in one of our rooms… I don’t usually leave negative reviews but in this instance I would like to save someone the frustration of having to experience what we did during our stay. We were traveling with a large group who reported similar conditions in their rooms so hygiene seems to be an issue across the board. Until upper management sets new standards for cleanliness I would suggest staying somewhere else.

Older Hotel but Great Location
The location is perfect and provided an excellent walking trail along the river. The hotel is run down and our room had lots of cosmetic issues, like holes in the walls, water damage on the ceiling, fixtures didn't work. The was a nasty odor due to the age of the furniture and carpet. The bed sagged and was not terribly comfortable. Overall, the property needs some TLC.

Nice stay in a dated facility. Work is underway, pool is a nice amenity. No on-site restaurant or bar, other than complimentary breakfast which was good. Friendly service, great rate.

When we got to the property, there were 2 people ahead of us. There was only one person working. It took well over half an hour to get through check in. When we went up to our room, my son opened the door, only to find someone else was already in the room. Luckily he was only watching tv. We were told that they were upgrading us to a suite for our trouble- which is what I had already booked. I am so thankful that we were upgraded, because I can’t imaging much worse than this. The bathroom was in a corner, which made the door not able to open all the way, it also was not able to close all the way. The bed was so old and broken down that if you ventured too far from the middle, you would roll off the edge. Few of the lights/plug ins worked. And one outlet was even hanging out of the wall by the it’s wires. The heating/air was not adjustable. The pool and workout room had a very strong mold/mildew smell masked by air freshener. The only positive to the stay is that there was bacon for breakfast. Bottom line, we will never stay at this hotel again.

The property is diminishing…I stayed here for the first time in 2014 and immediately loved it bc of the proximity to the creek… but here we are.. I can no longer say I love staying here for the view of the creek from my room which I asked for, but didn’t get, and I know the hotel wasn’t full, but that’s fine has nothing to do with my review. I got a call in the morning basically accusing my family of causing a plumbing issue bc it was leaking downstairs, even though we just showered. The breakfast was abysmal, I have no better words for that… when we asked for more towels, we only had 2, I have 3 children which were included in my reservation, they had none to give us… They gave us hand towels to dry off with. That is unacceptable. For a positive, the night staff ladies when we checked in were amazing.. I just think the owners need to sink some of the profits into this hotel and stop being cheap. We are by no means a “bougie” family, and I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but I don’t like seeing my favorite hotel going to the wayside.

Room 127 October 17-23, 2024: Free breakfast adequate. Had to continually bug housekeeping staff for fresh towels. We set our own trash out in hall each morning it was picked up promptly. Housekeeping never entered the room in 5 days, six nights. Room decor was "tired", some things need fixing. Parking tight at night, lot always full. Reasonably quiet, Room was comfortable and accessible on first floor, good for us elders. I'd give the place a "C". Reasonable value for the cost per night.

Stayed there twice recently. First room, the shower pressure was very low, and if I turned the shower head higher, it would not stay in position and it would start to leak badly. Could not figure out how to work the A/C and had to unplug it. Train noise in the middle of the night, but just once. Second stay, on second floor, lots of noise from the people above us. Floor in the bathroom had several cracked tiles, but the shower worked well.
