Pristine room and bathroom! Staff was so friendly which was much appreciated after a 7 hour drive. We really enjoyed the new and nicely rennovated rooms and felt the beds/pillows were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to our family and friends!

Would stay again.

It was a nice hotel. More like a motel as the room doors open to the outside. Looks nicely remodeled and bed was comfortable. The carpet had a few stains but it was clean. For Alaska it’s a very comfortable hotel and way cleaner than even high dollar ones. I will say my hubby uses a ramp or elevator, although we were in second floor, there was no handicap ramp or rails in the roo we stayed in. The stair case has very low step height, so not too bad for him to make it up the stairs. It is split level, so even the first floor had about 4-5 steps down. The bathroom was very clean and shower only- so that is a plus. Would stay here again, but maybe if guaranteed a first or second floor room. I’m not sure he could do the third floor. Safe area in Eagle River and parking was adequate.

We had a good stay. Newly renovated property. Had everything we needed. No breakfast. A bit expensive still but everything is in Alaska. The front desk gave us a great tip to go see Hatchers Pass. It was perfect and so beautiful!

Review for Eagle River My recent stay at the Twin Peak Lodge was unfortunately impacted by a significant issue with the room's lighting. The streetlights just outside the hotel are extremely bright at night, and the curtains in our room did not effectively block the light. There were noticeable gaps at the edges of the curtains, allowing a substantial amount of light to leak into the room. This intense light pollution severely disrupted our sleep. Our child had a very difficult time settling down, and as adults, we woke up multiple times throughout the night. The strong light made it nearly impossible to get the rest we needed. For anyone sensitive to light, this could be a major problem. I hope the hotel management can address this issue, perhaps by installing blackout curtains that fully cover the windows. A good night's sleep is a fundamental part of any hotel stay, and this was unfortunately lacking during our visit.

Staff was never at front desk, location was not what you would expect when it is called a lodge. No coffee in lobby, vending machines, laundry. Came in 40 minutes early and they refused to check me in saying it was being cleaned. Sat in parking lot for 40 minutes and no cleaning staff in sight. Could see a mountain as advertised but it is located in the middle of housing and a school with some industrial building being worked on behind it. If i could have cancelled and went somewhere else i would have. Rooms were very nice however, i will give them a thumbs up on that at least.
