We arrived at 2:30 in the morning. The keys didn't work to our room and finally the staff switched our room. But they forgot to inform the cleaning staff! At 6:30 am they tried to enter our room. Someone anyhow. Then they came back 10 minutes later and began knocking. Then 10 minutes later the front desk called wondering who was in the room! The beds were small and uncomfortable. We had to ask for shampoo etc as none was in the room. Not any Kleenex either. We had asked for a quite room... At 7:30 am construction noise began outside our window. Didn't see that when we arrived because no more midnight sun! And because it was cruise season, the room was very expensive.

Our room was on the first floor next to the lobby and was quite noisy. The walls are thin and we could hear the reception staff talking. Beds are very soft and could use updating/upgrading.

The staff was absolutely friendly and wonderful. I was always greeted with a smile and I was always asked if they could help me with anything. Top Tier Customer Service. My ONLY gripe about the place was the bathroom and the bedroom. The lights flickered in the bathroom and the toilet seemed to be off center... closer to the shower and nearly outside of arms reach of the toilet paper holder. Bedroom was a bit small, but it was well maintained. Could hear water moving through the pipes when I was in the room but that was a minor inconvenience at worst. Overall 4/5 Stars. Will definitely be looking to stay there again the next time I'm in Anchorage. Again, the staff were all absolutely wonderful from the front desk staff to the cleaners. I can't sing their praises enough!

The location is close to some good options. Closest Walmart was dirty. Basic rooms no frills and rooms seem expensive for what you get provided.
