I drove up to Anchorage for a one day trip. At the last minute I decided to stay over rather than drive home in the dark for 3 hours. Friends have recommended the Puffin Inn for years. I was able to book a very adequate single room for a VERY good price thru Hotels.com. The room was clean, the hot water was hot, and the street noise was minimal. I didn’t make it to the breakfast but I’m sure it would have been good as well. I do recommend this hotel.

Room was clean. However, the room was located two buildings over away from the lobby. Check in took more than 15 mins due to the long line. The airport shuttle was on time going out in the AM and very convenient.
