Room nice. Don’t plan on eating here. The service year after year is absolutely terrible. We live in Alaska and come here to Anchorage several times a year and stay here and we have learned our lesson. Don’t eat at this hotel you will wait forever for a drink. You will wait forever for your food. You will wait forever for your check and most of the Waites staff have terrible attitudes like they are pissed off and don’t like people. Good place to stay horrible service in the restaurant but at least it’s consistently horrible.

They need complimentary coffee in the lobby for early risers. There is no coffee in the lobby. The restaurant had a cold breakfast buffett. No cook the entire time; the buffet was the only option. Had to drive to downtown Anchorage for breakfast.
