Andernach Vacation Packages

My adult son and I booked separate rooms. He was located in a separate residence, , in an apartment, and I was put in an hotel room. The bath in his room was slippery, and had no grab rails. If you are a bit unsteady, ask for a room with a shower. There was a fair bit of noise from the street, if you opened the windows. Many restaurants were within a very short distance of the hotel, as was a convenience store.

The fit and finish furnishings decor were all outstanding, location on the river just added to the experience

This was the most luxurious and amazing stay we have ever experienced! The staff was phenomenal ensuring our stay was simply magical! The ambience can not be matched! We were treated royally our entire stay. We will definitely return to this establishment anytime we visit Cologne! We were even able to meet the owner and he was very gracious! Hands down the best stay and experience ever!! We could not have asked for better accommodations to celebrate our Anniversary! Most Sincerely, The Browns

The staff were very friendly. They offered a lot of tips on shopping and dining options a few meters away. Bed and pillows were extra comfortable.

Lovely hotel, location fine, parking easy. Decent bar area. Only criticism is the self check in desk is a bit inefficient. Had two staff who could have done the check in, in seconds, stood there watching us fumble around. Self check in should exist for when staff aren’t around (late arrivals) or away from the mann check in desk to make more “slots available” during peak times. Having 3 computers and 2 staff telling people how to use the computers and not able to check you in on their own computer is just silly. We also had to queue to check out to get parking validated, which seems like something a computer system you had to use to pay for parking could have done during check in… didn’t ruin the stay but several of our party commented on how woefully inefficient the existing process is.

Location is excellent in my opinion. It’s really noisy. There is a constant noise day and night (drilling type of noise) I couldn’t figure it out and you can hear noise from hallways and other rooms. It’s an old building. Staff is friendly. Bed is comfortable but pillows are like sofa cushions. Not comfortable at all. I guess for 1 or 2 days stay it’s ok. I stayed for 7 nights. I wished I have had the chance to move to another hotel.
