I have stayed here several times lately and each time I have received great service, a very new and clean room, and a good quiet nights rest. I have only stayed in the new, smaller building which is where the nicer rooms are located. Convenient location and the hotel offers a small breakfast as well.

Unclean and sloppy

I was put into their newer rooms, but their housekeeping definitely needs to be give more attention to the details. It just does not seem clean, which is gross for a hotel room. And yet, even outside the room, things seem very sloppy. Boxes and overflowing trashcans. And the breakfast...well, it was quite meager. I could have dealt with that except for the uncleanliness throughout.

I need to get a plunger?

Check in went smoothly. When I got to the room I realized the remote would not work and there were no controls on the tv to change the channel, volume, etc. The lady at the desk when I checked in tried to help but we decided to go to dinner and worry about it later. After returning we noticed the toilet was not wanting to flush, so I called the front desk about that issue. The woman there when I checked in must have left for day and a man answered. I spoke to him about the issue with the remote and he basically told me he couldn’t help with that and when I said something about the toilet he proceeded to tell me I needed to get the plunger. First of all I spent $80 on this room plus another $20 for later checkout so I could go straight to work. For me to be told I needed to get a plunger was absurd! I am very disappointed. I’m a bartender in the area who lives about an hour away so getting a room helps a lot with getting off late/early morning and having to be right back at work the next morning. I don’t think I will be returning to this establishment any time soon, and honestly I feel that I should be reimbursed for being stuck in a room with no tv and a non working toilet.

This was not my first stay but the worse experience the roaches were everywhere, in the shower crawling the walls on the nightstand etc. the fridge was in bad shape!

The room was spacious and comfortable, it was quiet but the only downfall about the week stay I had was that the housekeepers never came to the room, this is the first time I’ve had this issue anytime I stayed at this days inn.

The room was gross. The door leading in looked like someone tried to kick it in, the floor in the room was gross/unswept. It’s honestly easier to just say the entire room was gross. If I could have gotten my money back I would have. However, I booked the room through Expedia.

So they could do better at smoke smell mitigation within the rooms. The rooms, clearly, are not smoke-free although they are advertised as much. The window drapery were inundated with the odor. And the grounds? Those smokers who abided by the policy used the river rock beds as the cigarette butt ash try, and obviously, there's little policing of the litter. The "deluxe" buffet is a waffle maker, oj, coffee, cheerios, yogurt, and cellophane wrapped Hostess buns. The owners/management obviously are aware of being a lower-rate hotel that attracts not only the budget conscious but also less desirable clientele.

Nice place and well located; the only problem, they increased the price’s for the day after thanksgiving and for that price, the amenities doesn’t justify the stay. Breakfast is included, is clean and food is warm and fresh; the only complaint is; no eggs and just gravy and biscuits; for 100 and more per night, I truly believe that sausages or at least eggs could be added. Outside that, the room was clean and the staff girls ( I saw 3 different during my stay) they were really friendly and useful, not a perfect place, more good things than bad, give it a try.
