We found Cote Ocean online after spending a night at the nearby Ibis Hotel. It was perfect, our own little apartment in a laid back beach community a short drive South of La Rochelle. Our hosts there were very nice, easy to deal with and helpful with suggestions about the nearby area. We hope to return the next time we visit France.

Exceptional accommodation

Alas, we only spent one night here and wished it had been longer. Our room (Le Loft) was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The welcome from Philippe was very friendly and informative. The grounds are really beautiful and we could not fault anything. If we return to this area, we would not hesitate to stay again!

Loved it.

If you want all the facilities and amenities of a hotel but want the flexibility of self catering then this will suit you very well. The apartments are excellent and there's not too many meaning you don't get huge crowds. The swimming pool is lovely and big and there's an outdoor BBQ for guest use. The family team running it are so friendly and helpful. Great for families and close by are lots of fine beaches. La Rochelle is a 15 min drive. We will be back.

Séjour très agréable

Un très agréable séjour. Une équipe très accueillante, aux petits soins. Un petit déjeuner complet et très bon avec produits maison (idem pour la carte snacking du midi). Pour ce qui est du logement, une literie king size très confortable, une grande douche et une maison bien insonorisée. Nos enfants dormaient, eux, en lits superposés au même niveau que nous (mezzanine), ils leur a juste manquer le fait d'avoir un éclairage à leur niveau. Bel environnement, isolé de l'extérieur. Piscine nickel (très famille), beaucoup d'activités proposées (beach volley,ping pong, billard, ....). Juste petit bémol, la salle de sport qui était bien que fonctionnelle en travaux durant notre séjour (mais avec un établissement en permanence ouvert, il faut bien que cela se fasse..)

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und entspannten Urlaub in dieser hübschen Unterkunft. Sehr schönes Appartment (Mezzanine) mit Terrasse. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr herzlich und freundlich. Sehr gute Lage, um Ausflüge in der Umgebung zu machen oder an den Strand zu gehen! Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt !!!

We want to go back!

Our stay in Cote Ocean was fabulous. The room we stayed in was large and luxurious, with a nice big pullout bed for the kids in the living room and a huge (HUGE) bed for us on the higher level. The tiny kitchen was enough to cook a decent meal, but the food cooked by the owners was so good that that was not necessary (if you happen to be there when they serve the veggie couscous, run (don't walk) to the front desk and make a reservation for that evening). The breakfast is also really good. Pool and grounds are beautiful, and everything feels very spacious. We rented bikes from them and cycled some of the bicycle paths in the vicinity, and twice to the beach at Chattaillon-Plage: can totally recommend that. Wide beach, soft sand, a lovely markets and some nice cafes and restaurants. The small beach at walking distance from the hotel is nice, but not fabulous.

Week-end en amoureux établissement calme propre les responsable d'une gentillesse rare à votre service il y règne un sentiment de confiance situer à 20km de la Rochelle de fouras (accès à l'île d'aix) petit déjeuner copieux et très bon. Locaux propre sauna hammam salle de sport piscine chauffer. Bon souvenir pour nous nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. En couple ou en famille idéale.

Week-end très agréable, très bon accueil, cadre très agréable. Logement très fonctionnel. Nous avons passé un week-end super, les propriétaires sont charmants et très serviables, à l'écoute des clients. Les logements sont de très bonnes qualités, un super appartement en mezzanine avec un très grand lit confortable. Terrasse très agréable. Belle piscine, une salle de sport, sauna et hammam sont à disposition pour passer un séjour détente. Même un barbecue à disposition. Nous y retournerons avec un grand plaisir.
