Nice stay for a quick stopover

The rooms were clean but the carpet on the floor was dated and looked like it needed to be steam cleaned. The breakfast area was very small but the staff did keep it well stocked. I was greatful for the iced water always in the lobby. The pool and jacuzzi and gardens were well maintained.

Staff were great, but hotel is very dated and needs improvements. Tub and sink clogged when used. Common space on second floor was not wiped down when we went to sit and eat our take out. Breakfast was good and that space maintained well. The hotel only offered vending machines. No little market to buy water, soda, snacks, etc. Kind of felt like a motel in that respect.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was very musty/moldy smelling. We had to have the windows open to help. The carpet seemed constantly damp, even with the AC running.

I liked the staff and the parking situation as well as location. The outside area behind the hotel is gorgeous. However the AC was loud ( its age showing) and sheets threadbare. The toilet mechanism in our bathroom had to be fixed. My some ended up connecting after the fix that maintenance did caused the chain to detach. It really is a unique and lovely laid out hotel but I doubt I will stay there again.

The hotel was good in heneral. The beds were a slight disappointment, as they were ruts in the very squishy matrwsses. Everything in the room felt damp, even with the AC going.
