A Perfect Ann Arbor Hotel

My husband and I liked everything about the room with one exception. The shower had no grab bars for safety and that was an issue for both of us. We appreciated the fact that the room was comfortable without chairs or tables we didn't need nor want. The bed was extemely comfortable with large perfect pillows.

Affordable “Meh”

The location of this hotel was perfect for our needs. Honestly in this area, it was the most affordable option, and for the price, it was just fine. Clean, quiet, location. Breakfast was passable. Condition is a little dated in places but “fine”. Front desk clerk on check in reeked of cigarette smoke, which is a huge turn off for me. Other staff were only marginally cordial. It served our needs as a base of exploring the area, but that’s about it.

Sara was wonderful the reception desk. Love the mattress and sheets. Didn’t want to get up in the morning. Would highly recommend in breakfast was nice.

With no carpeting in the rooms, the slightest steps from rooms above or below were heard loud and clear. I stayed on the second floor and the room above me sounded like someone was rolling suit cases across the floor or jumping up and down.At midnight I contacted the front desk and they called the room above to remind them of the noise carrying easily with wood floors. However, i got very little sleep there and wonder about corporate’s decision to get rid of carpeting and install wooden floors. Also, the hotel sits alongside route 23 so one hears the constant traffic. Dont expect a quiet restful stay at this hotel.

Assigned a more spacious room than last year on the third floor. Breakfast was fine. Be sure to get a room facing the front entrance as there is loud vehicle tire noise on the back side facing the highway.

Very nice friendly staff. For “eco hotel” should have easily available recycling bins. Also, strangely loud flushing toilets (?)🙂 Beds are very comfortable. Will be back!

Good clean hotel, old but updated. An ancient smoke detector over a bed is about to fall off the ceiling, but not a big deal.

We did not stay, we left as soon as we got there. The room felt like a dirty hospital room. There was a awful cleaning detergent smell. The TV did not work. The parking lot had many people sitting in their cars and felt unsafe.
