There was definitely a theme to this hotel... Maybe kind of resort-like? I haven't seen a place like this since embassy suites in the late '80s. Water features inside, nothing extravagant but still interesting.

A pleasant stay

I stay at so many hotels that I rarely write reviews anymore, but we did really enjoy this place. My kids loved the pool and the open atrium feel. Breakfast was ok as far as basic hotel breakfast goes. Staff was super friendly. Our suite was huge and pretty clean. Other guests mentioned the stale air, which we did notice in the room, but it wasn't overpowering. They were renovating many of the rooms while we were there, probably since busy season just ended.

Staff is very good to excellent. Rates are very attractive. However, this is best for those with young children who wish to run wild and scream in the pool (which is open until 10pm- when they start running and screaming in the halls). Avoid this place on weekends and during vacation periods. The noise from the indoor pool is deafening. Parents tend to congregate in the common areas, which are a bit worn. The rooms in the tower are clean, but the noise can be a significant problem.

Enjoyed our stay!

Easy access to hotel from major roads and sites in the area. Lovely interior and exceptionally great breakfast. Room and bed were comfortable. Pool in the middle of the attrium was lovely, but upon entering the hotel, there is a chlorine odor. Our room was across from the pool and there seemed to be a dampness or humidity in the room. Our trip to Ann Arbor was to attend a wedding.

The only elevator was down most of our stay. Ants in the ballroom and the room we stayed in. Some other kind of bugs in our bathtub. Jets in the hot tub didnt work and the pool was so filthy i wouldnt let my kids swim.

Beds were uncomfortable, hard and bouncy. Room was dirty. There was hair and dirt from previous guests, dead bugs on floor and ants crawling all over. Pool was so filthy it should prob be a biohazard. Breakfast was meh, I was scared to eat the hot food. It did not look appetizing. Best thing was banana, bagels and oatmeal but theres no microwave to heat the oatmeal. Broken things all over the place. Only positive of this place was amazing restaurant right across the street called Webers, that place was amazing and a definite go to, the food and service there was amazing!! Skip this motel.
