The property is run down and very dated. Carpets in common area were ripped and dirty. The icemaker were out of order. Once you’re in the room, it was OK. Breakfast was definitely very average even for a hotel Continental. In the three days that we were there, the water was turned off and the electricity was out for a period of time. Customer service people at front desk were very friendly. I would rate them 5 stars.

The bed was good and the furniture seemed new. The room was listed as ADA compliant, but it was not! There was walk-in shower but the toilet was 13” from the floor to the seat. ADA compliant is 17” - 19” and there was no grab bar. When I made an issue of it, they brought in a plastic molded thing that sat on the toilet seat, making it several inches higher. But it was not secured in any way. In addition, they suggested I park at the Banquet & Conference entrance as it was closer to the elevator. The problem is that there are no handicapped parking spaces there! Even though it wasn’t a long distance to walk to the entrance, the spaces are small and a walker or wheelchair cannot fit between them. So although the hotel looks nice there really are very few accommodations for people with mobility issues. It is a very difficult place to stay. The staff at the front desk was very insensitive! For example, when I took issue with the toilet, she said, “no one has ever complained before.”

2 Complaints: Upon arrival, had trouble finding my room - couldn't find 315, but found 312, 313, 314 and assumed w no.s hard to find, that mine was unmarked room next to 313 but key wouldn't open. Had to get front dedk attendant who came up, said the unmarked room was storage and the actual 315 was at the far end of the hall, totally out of sequence! When got into my room, door was very hard to open from indide and out, so had to relocate. New room was equally Out of Sequence, just on different floor - again, room no. that should have been in center of hall was at very end of hall! Understand rooms are needed for Conferences, Storage, maybe out of use, but why not just keep no.s in normal sequence?? Very hard to find 315 or 212 when they're totally out of sequence!!

Overall, we had an average stay. The staff was welcoming and available to assist. The air conditioning was definitely a problem. It needed to be reset every couple of hours. There was also a ton of peeling paint throughout the room. The floor and bathtub was dirty. The hotel needs major updating.

A/C didn’t work first night, was fixed in am. Sink was clogged, not fixed. Electrical outlets so overused they would not hold a charging plug. Pool was open an noisy till after 10 pm, most rooms overlook pool. drapes did not adequately cover large window, allowing outside light to shine in all night. Staff was friendly. Breakfast bar ran out of coffee last morning of stay and hot food was cold. Beds were comfortable, room was clean.
