Horrible vacation

I stayed with my family and one of the beds was extremely uncomfortable. It was sagging in the middle so that my husband I rolled into the midddle. I am sending a picture of two pictures on your wall close to the bed fell off the wall onto my sons foot. Bugs by the ice machine and the hallway very dirty. I would like something back for this stay.

The staff were very kind and tried to be helpful.The hotel is in need of significant repairs and updating. I was very disappointed with the quality of our room and the lack luster of the hotel itself. The elevators smelled horrible. The carpets need to be completely removed throughout the room and hotel. My first room was not clean and smelled like the elevators. The new room was cleaner, however, the door looked like it had been chewed up at the bottom and there was a scrape along the entire hotel wall by something with the door included. Made me feel a bit unsafe, especially traveling alone with my child. There was water damage all around the window, the curtains have NEVER been cleaned, the fridge was a college dormroom fridge that looked like it had been used as that. Some of the towels had stains on them. Along with the issues at the hotel, I booked through a 3rd party and had quite a hassle with my checkout billing. I am still skeptical if I have been charged twice for the room and breakfast package. I purposely booked with a breakfast since it was needed for what we were staying for and then got charged again, along with additonal taxes. The breakfast was sufficient but not as nice as some of the competitors or other locations we have stayed. The staff tried to help with all of it and were very pleasant but it did not leave a good impression on me for Hilton hotels, future stays and using a 3rd party to book. Definitely was NOT hassle free at this location.

Great place to stay

The suite was very comfortable and open. The bed was very nice and comfortable. From the time we entered the main lobby we were made very welcoming. There's one restaurant at the hotel that provides you with a good variety of food. The bartender (Carlos) is from the area and recommended several places to check out to eat. He also makes a great Manhattan! The shuttle driver (Antwonne) is very helpful and points out places to check out. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance from the hotel which is a bonus but I would recommend taking the shuttle into Annapolis and doing your shopping and eating. There is a pool at the hotel that is surprisingly large. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and respectful of our privacy. All in all this is a fantastic place to stay.

The hotel is older and as we walked through we were saying how it could be (& you can tell it was) a really nice hotel. Don’t misunderstand, it was a nice hotel, but you can tell it’s ‘used’. There are scuffs on doors and walls, there are tiles broken on floors, etc. the room itself was clean. The bathroom was clean. The tub did not drain properly; however, water pressure was good and hot water was not an issue.

Beautiful property, I just wasn’t a fan of the layout. It felt like I had to walk a mile from the lobby to the elevator to get to my room. Also, one of the days of my stay there was a wedding reception. The location of my room meant that I had to walk through the reception crowd to get to the elevators to get to my room. After a long day (this was a business trip), that was the last thing I wanted to do, so, that day I had to walk around the party by going outside, through the outdoor pool area, back inside and up to the elevators. I certainly got my exercise at this place!
