Beautiful hotel with nice amenities. Rooms were large and clean. The towels were generous and high quality . The hotel offered transport to local restaurants and attractions. We used the service in the evening and found the driver to be trustworthy and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast buffet was very tasty.

This area has been built up so much since I first started visiting regularly in 2017. I like that I have the option to bring my dog if needed (that was how I ended up choosing Doubletree the first time I visited because no one would be at my home to take care of the pup). This trip around, the elevator was broken, which for me wasn't terrible (although I only had to manage my luggage up to the second floor via the staircase), but many times I've traveled there it's been with my elderly mom or special needs daughter (or both at the same time) and I would have needed to find somewhere else because stairs or a long walk just aren't an option anymore for them. The convenience of this location is wonderful.

This Doubletree Hotel is in terrible condition - wall paper torn, dirty walls, patches over damaged walls, room smelled like smoker had stayed, rooms weren’t serviced by housekeeping (said cleaned only if you stay five or more nights but we were never told), etc. We expected, for what we paid, this would be a hotel in better condition with better service. The staff was as helpful as they could be given circumstances.

We were very disappointed when we requested a room with a roll-in shower, and even confirmed with the front desk before going to the room that it had a roll-in shower, only to find it did not when we got to the room. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately, this hotel is not keeping up with its age. Grab bar in the tub was falling off in first room. Second room had a sink faucet that leaked on to the counter. Mattresses are uncomfortably hard. But the cookies are good and the location is too.
