Bed was very comfortable. A bit noisy but it’s an old hotel so you can hear water running etc. Although it is old it is a charming hotel. Love the lounge area and music. Staff are friendly and helpful. Free breakfast that was included was yummy. It included an omelette station. Food was tasty and lots of freshly made baked goods. The best time to arrive is around 8:00 ish otherwise later there were a lot of people waiting.

A beautiful property and old resort. While the room was nice and staff friendly, the elevator was out-of-order (and apparently had been for weeks). This made staying in the third floor less than ideal. Supper at the on-site restaurant was good, but most food tried on the complementary breakfast buffet was cold (e.g. sausages cold on the inside). Overall, a nice place, but would check for a working elevator.

Unfortunately, we were not advised prior to check in that the elevator was not functioning. We were located on the 3rd floor. This was very difficult due to physical limitations in climbing the stairs.

Pool was awesome. The rest was not great for the amount of money we spent on this place. Staff was mixed. Some tried hard but were either inexperienced or didn’t care. We will probably stay again because the kids like the pool so much. Will not spend the same next time.

Lovely property we have been visiting for 50 years. Dining room busy due to staffing for reservations and guests coming without. Despite that our server Elizabeth as busy as she was, was excellent as was dining reception. More attention needed for guests. Reception should recommend dinner reservations on check in. At buffet, self serve coffee and cream not refilled. Tables not busked. Outside on deck, chairs not wiped down after rain from night before. Attention to details needed. But would recommend

This is a beautiful property, we booked simply for somewhere to rest our heads, and I desperately wish we planned for more time here. Elegant with some breathtaking views! We may make the 5 hour drive again to plan some extra time to relax. Thank you for the wonderful service!

So good we are coming back!

The room was relaxing and clean. The food was extraordinary - highly recommend. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had many options - including an omelette station. Overall, wonderful - and we will stay here again in the future!

Nice property. Enjoyed the stay. Staff are lovely and breakfast was excellent. Room were nice, but not overly roomy. I really didn’t like that the windows had no shears - I know that seems like a first world problem- however, we were ground floor, and right outside our window was the main road and walking area. So we either were in complete darkness, or everyone looked right in at us. Just a small inconvenience
