Walkable but not comfortable

The location is great and close to old town Annecy. Staff was also fairly friendly but not overly. The challenge with the accommodation comes down to the actual bed. It is incredibly uncomfortable. I have stayed in many hotels and this may be the most uncomfortable bed yet. The room itself was fine. It felt very basic but that's what you're paying for. If you're on a budget, want to be able to walk to everything, and don't mind a tough bed and anesthetics, it will work.

False advertising in promo pics. Hotel is nowhere near that castle. Certainly not visible from property. Decent hotel besides that. I felt like they tried to be hospitable

My superior apartment with balcony was brilliantly designed & worked so well. The location was terrific & within an easy walk of the Old Town, supermarkets & the station. I will definitely stay here again.

Apartment was nice. Well located and clean. They offer free hot beverages in the lobby. Most of the staff were excellent and helpful although one of the receptionist was constantly acting as though us being there was an inconvenience. We didn't take it personally and I didn't change my review of the complex, just something to note.

Very close to old town. Dated but clean enough,

LOCATION you cannot fault! So close to old town! But its showing its age & outside enviro not the most pleasant. It seems any big train station anywhere in the world display social issues of the city. If not for the closeness to old town, would rate it 3 stars at best. Annecy old town is amongst the prettiest places on earth I have been to & Ive been to many. Only good for 2-night stay max. Limited kitchen facilities. Room overall a bit dark to our liking.

Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff.

Great place to stay. The facilities are everything you would expect and the staff are excellent, friendly, helpful knowledgeable. Good value and good location. We travelled alone this time but seemed like it would have been comfortable if we’d taken our daughter too.

Very close to old town… about 8-10 minute walk. Good basement parking. Lots of food places around. Room is nice and adequate for a few days. Has laundry in another floor. Would stay here again.
