The Akra is a first class hotel and has wonderful facilities, the spa is particularly excellent. However, some of the staff fall short of 5* hotel expectations, the checkin experience was probably the worst I've had for a 5* hotel, the staff member didn't seem to care at all and just spouted out some spiel without even looking at us.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Akra. The hotel was lovely, well-maintained, and had most amenities we needed. While we were a bit disappointed that late checkout wasn’t available, they did allow us to use the hotel facilities after checkout, which helped. The food variety and restaurants were great. Only letdown was that staff couldn’t help when I asked about local shops for some forgotten items. Still, a solid experience overall — 4 out of 5 stars.

The place is absolutely beautiful. The nicest view and relaxing atmosphere. The food was good and the room was clean. One rude behavior of the receptionist. Locked us out of the room till we pay extra expenses one night before checking out. The manager was so understanding and apologized for unprofessional behavior. Otherwise I recommend visiting the hotel specifically for romantic vacations.

Absolutely loved it here! Everything is done with care, elegance, and precision. The hotel is a true resort not just in name, but in experience. Guest relations? On point. Friendly, attentive, professional just how it should be. Restaurants? Amazing. Every day feels like a culinary celebration at the main restaurant. There are four different high-quality protein options daily perfect if you’re into fitness or detoxing. And yes, around 80% of the ingredients are organic and sourced locally. No processed junk here! Many items are even made in-house. The kitchen team is world-class, and the staff overall is extremely kind, helpful, and respectful especially when it comes to the environment. Of course, let’s be real: no hotel on Earth has 100% flawless staff anymore (people don’t really want to work in hospitality these days… who knows, maybe in the future robots will do it? 🤖) But for now—these folks are doing a brilliant job. I’m truly impressed. The hotel has made serious investments: • A highly advanced elevator system (yes, it’s next level) • Incredible views of the Taurus Mountains and the sea from above • Nature all around, with total peace • A structure reinforced against earthquakes—solid and safe If you’re looking for a place that’s luxurious, environmentally conscious, secure, and full of flavor this is the spot. This hotel is always great, but they just renovated it and it got even better, which I didn’t think was possible. Most importantly the staff is always friendly and welcoming, along with being helpful. Gotta give a special mention to Ms Sena from the kids. Made the vacation even more fun for my child. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel!
