the hotel is walking distance to the center. Service is friendly, we loved our time in Antigua. Also, good breakfast included. We will be back for sure

The staff couldn't speak much English but were so kind and helpful with everything we asked. We had to swap rooms because of an issue with the water pressure and temperature in the shower, but they were responsive and very happy to help us resolve the issue by moving us to a different room immediately. The free basic breakfast is excellent. The location is great. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. They lock the front gate at 7pm for safety and have a night person available all night for whatever you need. Expedia states that check in finishes at 6pm but you can check in after this without any issues.

Beautiful property. Rooftop terrace has great views of the volcanoes. Perfect location - slightly removed from the main tourist hub but close walk to major sights. Friendly staff.

Some repairs and painting needed. Our shower didn't drain as it should and the water accumulated up to the top of our feet. The sink was wobbly and the ceiling of the shower showed some mold. Staff is super friendly, breakfast is a little on the small side but tasty. Coffee could be a bit stronger. The roof top terrace is nice. Overall a nice stay.

For a budget hotel, this was decent enough. The hot water tended to run out pretty quickly and the cleanliness was questionable at best. For our 3 day, 3 night trip it was bearable but if you plan to stay longer, I would splurge on a nicer place. If you want a true no frills more local spot on a budget then this is way better than a hostel. The safety aspect was good because they locked the front doors after around 8 pm and you had to ring a bell to come in. The staff was friendly though!
