We couldn’t check with our registered Service Dog, they also would refund our money, we had to go to another hotel, which was much better. Also this hotel has no elevator, I was so upset, I just about canceled my account with Expedia. My husband uses you service a lot.
I would never recommend this place to anyone.
The location of the hotel is great - the newly remodeled rooms are roomy and have a very nice design - breakfast was generous, a great value and yummy. My mistake was to forget if there was an elevator - there is not and the stairs are steep - also make sure you read the directions on how to find the parking lot - is is very conveniently located but the GPS does not find it due to pedestrian zones.
Our room was very clean and spacious. We did upgrade so it was very comfortable. The dinning-room is beautiful with very pleasant staff, great food with fast service.
If I had one complaint I would say I found the sheets a bit rough.
Really great place to stay. Very clean, lovely room, comfy bed, nice staff. Much better than anything you could get in Amsterdam for the same price. Good food and beer at the restaurant downstairs. Only negative point is that if you want to get an early night, it's difficult because the restaurant doesn't close until 12 or 1 in the morning. But that's to be expected, and if you get one of the rooms at the back of the hotel, I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem.
Overall our stay was good. Our room was apart from the main portion of the hotel and because it was in the annex to access the room you had to walk up 2 flights of very narrow stairs but once you arrived on the top floor it was all yours. The breakfast that was available was more than enough to keep you going for the day. The patio was alive from the time it opened to closing. The staff were fantastic and a huge shoutout to Simon who carried our luggage up to our room on our arrival. Unfortunately no parking on site for those arriving by car, so you had to park at a Q-park lot approximately 5 to 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay there again
Well located in pedestrian shopping and restaurant center center area. Hotel is an older property with some quirks but the restaurant, bar and free breakfast were great.
This hotel has absolutely no onsite parking or assists guests with transport from hotel to paid parking, you're on your own. Maybe fine if you arrive by train and die to be in a city centre.
The hotel itself looks magnificent, with a classical interior. It is in a very central location, about 20 minutes walk from Apeldoorn train station. Lots of places around to eat. The Hotel has a restaurant that serves good food, and seems to be popular with the locals. The staff were friendly enough. It has more the feel of a (good) British pub inn, with a vibrant atmosphere.
I stayed one night in the small budget room. It is a single room with a stand-up shower and toilet and bed all together in the same room. Obviously having a toilet at the foot of your bed is not ideal. That room is good for short solo stays, perhaps other rooms are better for longer stays. There are tea and coffee making facilities, which was nice. Overall pleasant for the short time I was there.
Small single room at a great price, Only stayed one night clean and comfortable, staff helpful and friendly. Great bar restaurant on site in the centre of town.
Far too expensive for the poor quality provided.
The check in guy was actually very nice and helpful. The bathroom was recently renovated and nice. That's the good part...
The breakfast manager was very very rude, aloof and arrogant. Not helpful and insulting us. Offered us a croissant for free for breakfast, then changed his mind and tried to charge us €4 for it. When we queried it, he told us in a very condecending aloof tone that nothing in life is free!!!!!! Really?! The breakfast offerings in general were average at best and too expensive...
The room and the corridors in general were very worn out and very out of date. Quite unnatractive. Very dissapointing for the price charged. The single bed duvets too small to keep us warm.
Dinner in the restaurant downstairs was very overpriced and all main courses the four of us ate were way too sweet! Terrible!
In general we would not recommend this hotel at all.
Ideal for my family stay, central location good breakfast, friendly staff and lovely views of the square. It snowed during our visit so pics are from room.
An excellent hotel in the centre of Apeldoorn.
Stayed here for 3 nights whilst on business. The room was functional and had a newly installed bathroom. I enjoyed eating in the restaurant every evening where the atmosphere, food and service were all excellent.

Apeldoorn reunion.
Hotel is in fabulous location. Breakfast and the service were good.
However, the hotel has no lift and very steep stairways. I would not recommend this hotel to older folk.
Without doubt, excellent hotel with excellent location at the city center.
Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff. The restaurant staff deserved a special appreciation and thanks for a wonderful job. I really enjoyed the atmosphere which was so special I felt like I was home.
I truly enjoyed walking in the morning through the neighborhood, the cafe and shops. The city center was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a lively environment.
It's a true sample of excellent hospitality!

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Missing air conditioning and stairs were very difficult with suitcase. Very noisy with some generator outside my window. Could have used a coffee pot in room in morning to shake off the lack of sleep. Guess you get economy when you pay economy price
