Hotel was being renovated. Couldn’t get into the pool area door wouldn’t unlock. Breakfast was definitely lacking (second day went down 30 mins after it started and there was barely anything, couldn’t find luggage carts for check in or checkout. People smoking weed on premises by side entrance. Room wasn’t clean properly (microwave was filthy along with wall by microwave) and housekeeping came in every day before 10 am when check out was 11am even though I didn’t ask for it.Just for starters.

The room was dirty and the hotel had construction items everywhere. Lightbulbs were out, broken ice machines were sitting in the hallways, dusty and broken chairs in the hallways. Not going back and I wouldn't recommend. There are plenty of other affordable options in the area.

The gal that checked me in(and i assume is the owner) was very nice. Heading to my room thr carpet in the hallway had lots of stains. Once in my room, the carpet in there had stains as well and i did not feel comfortable walking on it with bare feet. The room did smell good, no mustiness. The microwave was dirty. The fridge cold.Thr bed comfortable. The jets in the jacuzzi in the room did not work. I chose the room for my 3 night stay specifically for this so that was very disappointing. The plug to keep the water in also leaked. The free continental breakfast was OK, thanksnto the pancake making machine.

The staff were great, the hotel seemed okay but our specific room just had a lot of issues. The lamps by the bed weren’t working, one bulb it was like we were at a disco. The vent fan for the broken jacuzzi was falling out of the ceiling, the jacuzzi jets didn’t stay so we couldn’t even use it. & I found a sock from a previous guest near the side table of the bed. Makes you wonder if they clean these rooms that well? The breakfast was okay, I wasn’t expecting it to be grand and it wasn’t, but it was free food with the stay. It seemed only one staff person was working the front counter & kitchen all by himself for the entire 2 nights we stayed but he was very friendly.

There was a miscommunication on our length of stay which resulted in a very unfortunate exchange with two staff members. They were very rigid in their policies and use Expedia's terms as an excuse for rudeness and inflexibility toward the customer. Extremely unhappy with this stay as a result. It's a long and involved explanation, but suffice it to say...in this case, the customer was not treated well.
