Great location. Wonderful breakfast. Fantastic staff. We had shipped our luggage from Kyoto to this hotel for our final leg in Osaka before heading back home to the US. Yamoto transport misplaced one of our luggage. We were flying out in two days. The AirTag I placed in my luggage showed it was with the transport agency in Kyoto. Yu (at the front desk) was superb as she helped get a hold of the transport agency, got them to track down the lost luggage, and had them delivered it to the hotel by 8 am on the day we had to fly back. It took her multiple calls and extensive conversations to convince the transport agency that they had the bag and not my previous hotel in Kyoto. Thanks so much for the wonderful service.

Amazing property. Love it. Have everything for your trip. Wash machine was amazing bonus. Traveling with 2 small kids. Best property in all trip for us. Was Traveling 3 weeks in Japan.

Great clean room and very helpful staff, in a very central location easy walkable distance to everywhere in Kyoto while also easy access to all the transport to get around to all the sights

The hotel itself was ok, you are basically paying for the location, which is superb. Right next to Universal Studios Japan and Universal City. The ability to walk to USJ was amazing. The breakfast buffet is huge with a variety of foods to choose from, but very different for Americans. My food connoisseur son was eating white rice, seaweed and salmon for breakfast, while my other son stuck to mini corn dogs and french fries...for Breakfast! Will we stay there again, probably not as there are other hotels nearby that seemed nicer. Overall it was ok, the location being the best part

We enjoyed our stay in the oriental hotel and have no complaints about anything that occurred during our stay from the moment we checked in until we checked out.

The room was very small, but the view made up for it. The Spa at the top is why you want to stay here. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel. We really love our stay there.
