The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Tiny bathroom. Could hear someone cough a few times which made me think that if people were noisy it would be heard. We had no noise though. Breakfast very good. Pleasant staff. Not fancy but suitable for a place to safely and comfortably lay your head. We stayed one night.

It was nice to see familiar faces at check-in. We visit every year and the fact that the hotel has retained good staff is important. My room request was honored (away from elevator and ice/vending and courtyard facing). Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Shout out to the lovely ladies that assist with breakfast - they are so kind! Location is ideal for exploring DC and beyond as well as being close to dining options.

This was during the big snowstorm at the end of Jan 2026 in the DC area. We booked a room just in case our power went out, which it tends to do. The hotel is understaffed, and not well maintained. The bathroom was not well cleaned. We told staff and they said it was a "stain that would not come out". Little soap and elbow grease and it came out. It took them a while to clear the entrance and exit of snow. This is clearly a cheap hotel for the area, and there is a good reason for it. We got exactly what we paid for. That being said, nobody was rude, and the front desk was trying. The cleaning staff was not.
