Currently the property is under renovations so there was a lot of debris around but the staff did good job of making sure the environment was welcoming. There is a $45 parking fee per night, I found this out on site, however there is street meter parking that is significantly cheaper.

It was a good spot for a night or two, but it’s definitely not what’s in the pictures. The building is undergoing construction so there’s noise, the area is nice but there isn’t much to do. Would still come back though.

I could not check in, since the hotel is under extensive renovation and not operational. I called the facilities and tried contacting Expedia with no success. At minimum, I should’ve been notified that the hotel was not available so that I could make the proper arrangements. Is the professional thing to do.

Hotel is fine but a bit awkward since they’re in the process of renovating. For example I had a hard time finding the restaurant because the signage in the elevator wasn’t updated. But once I got there the bartender was very sweet and chill even though I got there pretty late. Similarly, Sam at the front desk is excellent at his job. I appreciate someone that picks up the phone and can give detailed instructions about things like finding the shuttle at the airport— helps a lot when you’re trying to do several things at once. He was also very helpful when I asked for a different room. The first room I was in had no rug or any accessory furniture, it was clean but felt unfinished and just kind of weird. The second room was very nice and much cozier.

Why be open?! Ugh calling Marriott!

absolutely ridiculous that it’s open during renovations! White dust everywhere! Could not find it for over an hour as there was no sign ON THE TOP or in view of road that it was still open! Water took forever to get hot, then would get ice cold while in it. Ran out of nasal tissue, rug seemed not well vacuumed, only 1 star for the amazing restaurant and their staff

There was massive renovations and construction taking place which I was not made aware of. Fitness center, pool, restaurant, everything was closed. All day construction noise made it impossible to be in the room with peace and quiet. The couple who checked in before me was offered late check out at 2 pm but when I asked for it, I was told it would be an additional day charge. I wan a marriot member if that makes a difference. On the day of check out, by 11:14, my key card had already been blocked even though check out is at 12. The only place to eat was on the mezzanine and the menu inside was completely different than the menu online. Ended up leaving to another hotel across the street.
