Room was nice and clean. However, it wasn't the room I selected via expedia a month prior. Upon arrival I waited in the lobby for over 2 hours for a another room. I also called weeks prior to see if I could do an early check in because my plane would be landing after 1pm. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. In addition; I was charged $470 five times on my CC. I attempted to tell them that everything was paid via Expedia, neither front desk cleark at the time wanted to listen. The only person that attempted to correct the situation was Mr. Muhammad. Bryan rude and dismissive, and the older guy that worked along side him was very condescending and continued running my card through. Lastly, there's a lot of construction going on around the property with debris falling on you while waiting outside for transportation. If it wasn't for Muhammad I wouldn't have stayed.

It was as if I did something to the lady at the front desk. Her tone of voice and body language all was very bad. She handed me my keys only for me to get to the room and it looked as if someone was in the room already. Television was on, water running in the bathroom sink, towels in the bath tub, one of the beds looked like someone just rolled out of it. I reported this to the front desk and they refused to change the room or clean it. This made me to check in to another hotel nearby. They refused to pay me back or do a proper investigation by checking the cameras. Very disappointing for a Marriott hotel. If they don’t value their third party customers from Expedia, they should not do business with them. I am still waiting for my refund either from Expedia or the hotel itself. I am asking Expedia once again to refund me as I work too hard for my money.

I was laid over in DC due to a storm and booked the National Landing Hotel based on its website, which showcased a beautiful facility with a pool and hot tub—exactly what I needed to unwind after a long, stressful day of flying from Colorado Springs. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible from start to finish. The front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. My debit card—the same one I used to book and pay for the room in full—somehow wouldn’t work for incidentals, despite having more than enough funds. Instead of assisting me, the staff acted like I was the problem. Getting there was another disaster. Two different shuttle drivers took me to the wrong hotel twice, forcing me to take an Uber at my own expense just to reach the correct location. After all that, any hope of relaxation was gone. Between the unprofessional staff, the transportation mess, and the overall lack of hospitality, I will never stay at this hotel again. If you want a stress-free experience, look elsewhere.

Worst hotel experience

We were completely catfished. The pictures shown on the website are not at all what the hotel looks like. Everything was so dusty. They had construction going on but even so staff should have stayed on top of dusting. Entering the elevators there was an inappropriate symbol drawn in the dust . After I had pointed it out to staff nothing was done to clean it up and remove it. The key cards to the room did not work. They tried putting us in the wrong room to begin with. The property was without water for a few hours. We couldn’t shower, use the bathroom. Such a huge fire hazard. They were allowing guests to check in without letting them know that there was no water. The dining /bar area looks nothing like what is shown on the website. The worst stay!!! I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. I am still waiting to hear on my reimbursement.

Poorly run Marriot

The hotel was undergoing renovation. Every morning at 6:30 I was awakened to the sound of hammer drills. This was not stated on the website. The only way to get the staff to clean your room was to request it at the front desk. Also, the food at the hotel restaurant was what you would expect at a school cafeteria. Probably the worst Marriot I have ever stayed at.
