My husband and I had a problem with our key/lock x 2. (Apparently the lock battery died ?) The maintainence person and the managers on duty were very professional, helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable after a very difficult day. We are most appreciative and we would definitely stay at Crystal Gateway Marriott again. Thank You!

Was greeted as soon as I neared the front desk and check in was fast and easy. I did not have to interact with the staff much but the few times I did they were all helpful and friendly. I liked that there was a Metro station beneath the property, my main reason for choosing this property. Room was fresh and clean and the staff did an excellent job with the room. The food at the restaurant at the property was good but I thought it was a little over priced. There are several places to eat within walking distance of the property though. My only real complaint is that Wi-Fi is extra. You can get complementary Wi-Fi if you join Marriott Bonvoy, though. If you are looking for a property that is clean, friendly staff, easy Metro access, you can not go wrong with this property.

Great hotel, not so great breakfast buffet
Hotel was wonderful, but we were looking forward to having the breakfast buffet available each morning for a tasty and hearty meal before our day exploring. We had the expensive buffet once and never went back, because there were limited choices, for the price, and what was Avacado wasn't very tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful everywhere.
