Clean, comfortable and convenient for our 1 night stop over. Peter was a pleasure to deal with and it was great that he took the time to explain where things were and have a chat even though he was busy. We would definitely stay here again should we come back to Armidale.

Previous reviews were what led us to booking this motel. The reviews definitely didn’t let us down & we would stay again. Room was clean, modern interior, block out curtains, & everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. The manager was super friendly. Plenty of parking. Its location is great. Close to a gorgeous park with beautiful old trees. Food outlets within walking distance. Reasonably priced tasty pub meal at St Kilda Hotel, though it could do with an inside revamp. Thai Home restaurant located in Marsh Street for authentic homemade food - delicious. The information centre was very helpful. The cafe with Campos coffee - easy to find, will need to drive to it, didn’t disappoint. Gorgeous railway & other buildings - train museum, if you’re into history & old buildings.

The room was perfect. It had everything you could possibly need. The staff were amazing, so helpful. Close to shops and restaurants.

Very hard bed / pillows very flat - next door apartment bathroom leaked into our bathroom. Didn't look forward to sleeping at end of day after sight seeing. Disappointed. Cockroach eradication also required. Trendy couch was great to watch TV.

We stayed at this property a few days ago while travelling to Sydney and stayed again on the return trip. This time we had the King room. It was definitely worth spending a little more with a King Bed, kitchenette and a huge bathroom! As with our unit a few days ago it was very well presented, very clean and the staff super helpful. We will definitely return to the Country Comfort Armidale on our next road trip!

Thank you Peter for the warm welcome to your property. You made us feel like family, personally taking the time to point us to the local services in a way that only a local would know. The room was huge and very clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower and water pressure was fantastic! We will definitely stay here on our next trip through Armidale and have already recommended it to others.

Superbly clean and the room looked new. Very quiet for a busy motel. Staff were supremely helpful and accommodating to my late night arrival. The only minor area for improvement would be the front door... it is possible to close it without it bein locked in position. You had to ensure the door was pulled hard into the locking mechanism. Friendly manager, very comfortable bed, great local dining recommendation, we loved the Goldfish Cafe breakfast. It was just a stopover for us and in our short time found Armidale to be charming. Magnificent sunset on arrival.
