The staffs are racists and not friendly. They don’t have proper training of dealing with guest. They moved out my staff from my room in my absence. Rooms are narrow and noisy. No charging socket for IPhone. Lifts services are horrible. The manager of the hotel tried to be nice but end of the day the entire system is inefficient and full of poor service. I don’t recommend it.

Great hotel, recommended.

Clean, comfortable rooms with the most friendly and helpful reception staff. Spectacular views of the Blue Mosque from the breakfast room and terrace.

Every staff member was top-notch always looking out for their guests and making sure to help with any needs. Very apologetic if things went wrong and always presenting their little hotel with a smile and a warm greeting! They did everything they could help my niece and I, traveling together, by finding us a different room with two beds on the ground floor. That was awesome! But the rooms were definitely much smaller than I had anticipated. Yes, I am from America. Yes, we are used to things being a bit roomier and larger. That is all true. I was looking for a bit more of a quaint, charming European hotel. It was definitely charming, but I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay here to truly consider having separate rooms if you are with someone. I would equate this more with a dorm room in college as it was a completely overwhelming, small space. My niece had a good attitude because I was the one who booked it. I promise you the price was great but overall, for what I was looking for, I would just truly recommend that one would pay more money if you are starting off a fabulous vacation! Did we have a lot of laughs? Yes. Would I rather have had a place to put my luggage without feeling crowded? Yes yes! It is hard to top the proximity to all of our locations, guide and fabulous sites of Istanbul! That was a 10 out of 10! But the price is not an issue I would look for the same area or book 2 rooms. I also truly appreciated the hotel shuttle, which is well priced!

Clean room but shower not great. Difficult to get into (bathtub with tall walls) and shower head is really a hand held shower. Sub-optimal water pressure. But breakfast was large buffet and rooftop view did not disappoint. Hotel is closer to a 3-star by North American standards.

Two experiences turned what could have been a good stay into meh. First was their choice of the guide. As soon as we checked in we were pushed a guide and a dinner cruise, we declined the cruise but accepted the guide who was supposed to be taking us through the old city from 900-1700. We requested he start a bit late at around 1000. The guide could barely speak, had such a low voice we struggled to hear, didn't tell us anything beyond the wikipedia pages of the attractions, couldn't cover the grand bazaar since it was closed and didn't offer any alternative for that. In the end he just pushed aggressively for a "heirloom" rug which we told him multiple times was out of our budget. The tour also ended before 1400 and we were left wondering why did it cost that much. Second was their whole communication around a reschedule we had to do. Due to an emergency we had to checkout a day earlier. We reached out to reception to understand if they could offer a partial refund, and they said we have to reach out to Expedia. I reached out to Expedia and after a long chat session they agreed to drop a note to the hotel requesting refund. Initially the hotel refused to acknowledge they have received any email from Expedia. Then I had to ask Expedia to call them, post which the email was acknowledged. By the checkout time, the hotel didnt give any confirmation on the request but expedia said it was declined by them, which they could've done from start saving me the hassle.
