There were 2 lamps on the night stands, neither of them worked. I paid for 2 nights, the 2nd night around 8:30 PM there was a knock on my door. A young couple were standing outside with a key to my room. It appears that the Motel had double booked my room ! Not Cool ?

My review is based on staying at this motel from mid-June until Labor Day, being gone for 2 weeks, and coming back on a 2-night reservation. About cleanliness: This is the only motel I have ever stayed at where the maids don't come by every single day to change out your towels and offer you toilet paper. When I asked the manager about it, he said to put the dirty linens on the chair outside the door. So that is what I did. And they stayed right there for several days before I finally took them back in the room and washed them by hand in the sink. And I bought toilet paper at the Family Dollar. Someone asked me today why we didn't leave. Because there's no other motel in town.

We had a pleasant stay at the motel, the woman at the reception was very nice, helpful and friendly. There was a cute porch-swing on the veranda. The room is a bit smaller, but cute and clean! Although there was a gap under the door to the next room (conecting door) so that we could hear the neighbours speaking, hear their TV and smell their food. The bathroom would need a new coat of paint. The motel is a bit outside and we arrived at night. But we never felt unsafe. For breakfast you can make a coffee and grab a nut bar.

It is acceptable.

Dont expect much from an old small motel in a tiny little town.The water continually runs in the shower, theres alot of water damage causing the paint to slide down the walls in the bathrooms. The room I stayed in had a cracked window that was wide open facing a trailer park.There was not sufficient lighting at night in front of the room doors, couldnt read the room # till I was right in front of it trying to fumble with a key in the dark, a bit scary for a solo female. The beds were kinda hard and there was no soap at all and the coffee in the morning was in a big urn with a paper cup full of powdered creamer and one with sugar. The rooms have been updated so they have a bit more of a more modern vibe, and the front desk staff is always nice and helpful. They have a big area outside for doggies to do their business.The price wasnt too ridiculous but I just feel like they could put a bit more effort into keeping up on the little things. The money they are throwing away having water constantly running,not just dripping out of the shower could be used for repairs.

Hotel staff are charming! The hotel room is spacious, but it was missing towel hangers. The AC is on the louder side. Otherwise, everything else is good.

Perfect stay if you don’t care

I mean, you get what you pay for. First room we got had a very strong smell of smoke. We were able to get another room upstairs but it smelled and looked clean at least. Looks like the property is going through renovation and kudos for that. The A/C is noisy and goes on and off throughout the night so if you are a light sleeper you won’t sleep. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way, and there was a leak in the shower.

The only negative thing I would have to say ALL the pillows were flat. So just for that reason alone I did not sleep well. All other amenities was excellent for the location. Would I book again. most likely, however I would definitely bring my own pillows if able.

For its purpose, the property did the job--cheap place to sleep. However, seeing a few cockroaches crawling in the bathroom and on the floor in the room didn't give me much confidence in the property. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

Parking lot unpaved...the place looks abandoned. No electric outlet in the bathroom, hot water control barely worked. Double bed not comfortable. They have worked hard to remodel and clean the rooms, but only adequate for a quick overnight. Tiny room. Bad location.

A contradiction. Take a look at the photos. You can tell they are definitely trying to upgrade. Unfortunately, the housekeeping is not. The room itself was really cute. The dried crusty … on the bedspread and the bathroom?
