The hotel is beautiful and in a good location with easy parking. When we got to our room there were a lot of crumbs on the window sill and the shampoo in the shower was empty. Our first day there was a fire alarm. When we tried to exit the building there was a homeless man asleep infront of the door which delayed our exit. The second day the landline phone started beeping at 4:30am. The cordless receiver was not charging. I checked all connections and plugs and could not get the beeping to stop. There were a few things that could be approved upon and I really wish I could have given 5 stars.

Loved this Aloft!! Stylish, cool decor and layout, lovely rooftop outdoor pool was a major bonus! Good snack shop/cafe counter, great location and loved the upstairs patio overlooking Biltmore Ave-felt like we were in the best part of town, and we really loved our hotel stay!!

loved the property and the modern feel and outdoor space was great! Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Only negative was the the amenities in the room were not convenient or well thought out. Example: wall plugs not near the bed, older chargers were in the clock so could not use with updated phones. No towel racks in the bathroom or sink areas, lights were very dim in rooms. Bathroom door although was creative and cool was a pain to open and close.

Marriot brand hotels never disappoint. The Aloft is in an excellent location and the services offered are on point. Great place to stay and enjoy Ashevilles food, art and music scenes.

We loved it so much - while we didn't have our dog with us, we love that the hotel is dog-friendly and does fostering - what a brilliant idea! The hotel is clean, modern, smells great, and the staff is amazing. Just - amazing. I'm allergic to down pillows - some of the pillows in our room were down-alternative, but some...weren't. I only checked one (my bad). After a really rough night, when we asked for down-alternative pillows, they brought us a mountain of them. Love this hotel and look forward to staying here again. Just delightful.

Nice enough property close to everything downtown. Staff was virtually non existent, the one day we needed room service cleaning they didn't show (we didn't have the "quiet please" sign up). The bar tender didn't seem to know how to make some pretty basic drinks - the bar was empty the whole time while the adjacent hotel bar Moxy? was packed - we likely would try that hotel instead next time. Parking was easy enough, people (the few we talked to at reception) were nice enough - nothing wowing about the place. Nice that dogs are allowed.
