Our room was very clean. The hotel was nice and newly remodeled. But, the amenities were not that great. The pool was not working. The wifi was spotty and the TV had no guide or input button. My boys were unable to connect their console, like they are used to at other hotels. During breakfast, the breakfast manager was shutting things down before time and our maid service was impatiently knocking on our door before checkout time, to find out how quickly we were exiting our room. I find this unacceptable. Overall the hotel was very nice and well kept, but was lacking in social manners.

That a good resting hotel
We only stay here for one night but we have a clean room and a comfortable bed to have a good rest after 14hours driving from New York. The counter staff give me a warm welcome and quick check in.

This hotel was pretty rude to me and my family. No transparency and lack of communication. We were not informed that the pool and hot tub was down until a couple hours later. I could've asked and i guess thats my fault. I asked for a late check out but then was told to "Get out!" At 1130am by phone call. Not paraphrasing at all. Then hung up on us repeatedly when we called the front desk. There's a methadone clinic and homeless next door, so the ambiance is great! Ive stayed here multiple times and necer dealt with this type of experience before. Expedia didnt do much to rectify the situation either. Will not stay here and considering using another traveling app in the future.

Hotels booked this only a few days after Hurricane Selene. My family and I had a flight out of the airport and drove 3 hours that night only to find the hotel closed. Drove another 8 hrs looking for another hotel at midnight. Ended up sleeping at the airport. Still waiting for a refund.

Fall in Asheville
The hotel had recently encountered flood on the first floor and the carpet was covered in brown paper and taped down. Health Dept has closed swimming pool and closed the breakfast bar. The hotel made no adjsutment for the breakfast such as providing pastries and bottled juice, etc. Rooms were clean and housekeeping staff friendly.

Hurricane Helene
Check in Thursday September 26 not knowing hurricane Helene was heading that way. Woke up to no power in hotel. Asked about staying additional days and was accommodated to do so. Later in the afternoon the sun came out and I attempted to leave Asheville without success. Went back to hotel and they would not let me stay even after staying the previous night. Ended up staying in my car Friday night in a grocery store parking lot. Not very accommodating of them after staying there Thursday night and having all my credit card information during this life threatening time in Asheville, NC.

I thought choosing a large worldwide chain for a hotel, to stay in for one night would be a safe choice. I was dead wrong! The entire hotel was dirty, unkept, and grimy, our room smelled rancid of mildew, and pets, even though we requested a pet-free room. I got up at midnight unable to sleep due to the rancid smells and woke up my small children and made the clerk move us rooms. Would never stay here or recommend this place to anyone. I should have walked out the second I saw how stayed and dingy the lobby furniture looked. That's your warning to run!
