A great location and attentive staff. Not having a coffee maker or refrigerator in the room was much more of an inconvenience then I realized it would be. Also, the hotel offered absolutely no ground floor outdoor seating which would have been nice on a lovely day. The roof top lounge w/ some outdoor seating was rarely open.

One of the best hotels I have stayed in a long time. I have stayed in a lot of expensive hotels that are not as nice as this one. We will be back every time we visit Asheville. I have learned when you find a place like this you keep coming back.

Absolutely fabulous. I am hard to impress and this experience blew me away. The property was clean and well appointed. The staff were very well trained in hospitality. They were not only professional but kind and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This is definitely the best bang for your buck in Asheville.

The room was clean. The location is great as well near small shops and plenty of cafés and restaurants. The gentleman at the front desk perhaps could use help. It was often without anyone, and frankly he got my stay messed up. He understood at check in that I had reserved 2 nights even though they were made separately. He was able to leave us in the same room however the room was not made and when asked he suggested it was my fault for making 2 reservations. The ladies at the front desk were very amiable. Not having someone present at the front desk is not good. Also, checking on the guests that go to the rooftop might be wise. I overheard some expressing the desire to jump up and down while I was in it. Clearly there were some very young intoxicated guests.

We loved this very cool hotel! The building is full of history yet everything is brand new inside. Our room was gorgeous and felt very high end. We enjoyed the roof top bar and the speak easy in the boiler room! Great place to stay downtown as you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. Wish we could’ve stayed more than one night!!

Best Asheville Hotel!

What an awesome hotel! Everything was perfect from the check in experience to the comfort of the room (oh my, those linens were divine), to the adjoining restaurant to check out! Staff was also amazing!

Very cool hotel with a lot of history. Located in the heart of downtown AVL-within walking distance of all the good restaurants & shops! Beautiful views from the rooftop bar & don’t miss the speakeasy on the bottom floor! The staff was so friendly & accommodating! We will definitely be back! A+++++
